Free Desmyter Quartet: Something to Share
Un'idea di fondo non originalissima, dunque, che però funziona molto bene grazie alla coesione del quartetto e ad un palpabile gusto per l'improvvisazione d'insieme. Anche la scaletta dei brani, strutturata secondo i sani principi di una volta (alternanza di tempi lenti, ballate e uptempo) aiuta a tenere molto viva l'attenzione dell'ascoltatore che, dopo un'abbondante dose di improvvisazione, si congeda dall'album con la ripresa per solo piano di un tema già esposto in precedenza (In Memory), nel quale Desmyter dà prova di ottimo lirismo.
