Dado Moroni: Solo Dado
La sua è una densa, ispirata circumnavigazione pianistica, capace di imprimere una dimensione internazionale alla musica proposta, confermandosi ancora una volta come il più "americano" dei nostri pianisti jazz.
L'idea base del CD è una superba sintesi tra classe cristallina, swing, senso della tradizione proiettata in una cifra espressiva poliedrica, ora pirotecnica, ora intima, dall'alto di una pratica solida e comunicativa.
Un disco ben riuscito, che nel trasmetterci una grande carica artistica ed espressiva, si fa apprezzare anche per un canovaccio non sclerotizzato, fondato su procedimenti solistici di grande varietà strutturale ed emotiva.
Ben articolata la scaletta dei brani proposti, che trasferendosi con sobria grazia dal pentagramma al pianoforte, rimanda confidenzialmente ad un vissuto umano ed artistico intimamente sentito e quanto mai caro a Moroni. Note che dalla prima all'ultima traccia rendono amabile ed orecchiabile ciò che in realtà è arduo ed impegnativo.
