Simon Hanes is a musical omnivore with a penchant for Italian movie soundtracks from the '60s and '70s. He typically channels his cinematic flair through the New York-based soundtrack pop ensemble Tredici Bacci, but it was only a matter of time before he composed a score for a full-length film. Aimer Perdre, an offbeat romantic comedy by the Guit Brothers about a compulsive gambler and her escapades—both in gambling and in love—offers the perfect showcase for the many facets of Hanes' talent.
