La cantante argentina Florencia Ruiz è ben nota nella sua terra natale e probabilmente riuscirà a raggiungere quella considerazione internazionale, che certamente merita, con questo album pieno di forza espressiva, carico di drammaticità, capace di affascinare con arrangiamenti pieni di pathos e raffinata emotività.

Sono con lei una ventina di musicisti fra i quali spiccano il violoncellista Jaques Morelenbaum e il pianista Hugo Fattoruso. Gli arrangiamenti sono firmati da Carlos Villavincencio, mentre tutte le composizioni sono di Florencia Ruiz.

Nella musica di Luz De La Noche c'è una evidente richiamo alle melodie folk che profumano di paesaggi incantati ma poi le complessità mirabili degli arrangiamenti portano tutto su un terreno molto più strutturato, denso di echi, di rimandi, di sfumature.
