Il punto d'incontro tra tre personalità dal background piuttosto differenziato? Lo potremmo individuare nel magistero strumentale, nella capacità di esprimerlo attraverso l'understatement piuttosto che nell'esibizionismo, nell'estremo controllo dei registri e delle dinamiche ma soprattutto nella voglia di sperimentare, di addentrarsi nel territorio della sfida continua e reciproca, nel tentare sinergie apparentemente impraticabili.
Le dieci composizioni/improvvisazioni si dipanano in un continuum nel quale numeri e titoli fungono da punteggiatura di un capitolo musicale che ha la cadenza letterale di un racconto breve. Le atmosfere rarefatte, mai vellutate ed eteree ma piuttosto scabre, quasi rudi nella loro essenzialità, vedono i tre musicisti produrre il meglio del loro interplay sul terreno di un lirismo melanconico screziato e dissonante. La chitarra di Solborg fa meraviglie nel ruolo di magica scatola sonora che esalta il sax camaleontico di Bigoni e si fonde con il drumming fantasioso di Brow. Il trio è altresì abile nel produrre incandescenti grumi sonori ad alto tasso energetico, sospinti da contagioso entusiasmo e da sensibilità esecutiva.
