Michelangelo Decorato Trio: Circle
Incontro riuscito anche perché Bearzatti sembra divertirsi a giocare con il suono del suo sax persino all’interno dello stesso brano. Come in “Autunno“ dove nell’incipit e nella chiusura sfodera una timbrica vellutata e sensuale alla maniera di un Coleman Hawkins, mentre nella parte centrale il fraseggio è guizzante e la voce dello strumento tagliente e quasi acida.
Decorato, musicista dalla solida preparazione accademica, palesa un tocco che privilegia la rotondità e la pregnanza della nota invece della pura esibizione tecnica, la cura del suono rispetto all’occupazione selvaggia degli spazi. Anche le sue composizioni riflettono una visione musicale che è fortemente ancorata alla forma, alla sofisticatezza armonica, mai fine a se stessa ma piuttosto veicolo importante per esprimere la profondità del proprio pensiero.
Oltre alla già citata “Autunno“ da segnalare anche “Bambini” per la bella introduzione di Decorato, l’andamento vagamente jarrettiano, quello anni settanta per intenderci, ed un crescendo che si apre discretamente all’informalità. Ma è l’intero CD che si fa apprezzare.
