In poco meno di ottanta minuti, questo CD riunisce due LP editi in origine su GTA/Polydor (Sortie) e RCA (Disposability). In realtà l'ordine in cui le due incisioni vengono qui riproposte è inverso a quello cronologico: la seduta di Disposability è infatti di un mese e mezzo antecedente a quella di Sortie (rispettivamente Roma, 21 e 22 dicembre 1965, e Milano, 7 febbraio 1966). His music was as singular as that of anyone who has graced that world, and the fact that he chose to communicate exclusively through the medium of the soprano saxophone had the effect of elevating him to a rare position.
