Alessandro Gwis: Alessandro Gwis
In questo album ci sono infatti anni ed anni di esperienze musicali accumulate, sedimentate e stratificate, che finalmente vengono allo scoperto. Troviamo molti brani, ben quattordici, prevalentemente brevi e succinti, quasi come se Gwis volesse sfruttare tutto il tempo a disposizione sul CD per condividere con l’ascoltatore le molte sfaccettature della sua musica.
Il tango e i ritmi latini, ovviamente, ma anche echi di tradizioni euro-colte, musiche popolari, una occasionale spruzzata di elettronica, delicate melodie ed appassionato lirismo, sempre permeato da ironia, da un certo vigore ed anche da una sottile nota malinconica.
Un album piacevolmente danzante, che rivela una forte tendenza all’uso di scansioni ternarie e che mostra il suo lato migliore quando la musica punta verso l’America del Sud.
