Secondo il frequentato sito Discogs di versioni in CD e ristampe varie di A Love Supreme ce ne sono ormai parecchie, come è anche comprensibile trattandosi di uno dei dischi simbolo del jazz moderno.

The Complete Masters include, oltre alle tracce stereo uscite nel disco originale, anche "Pursuance" e "Psalm" in versione mono, altri frammenti della seduta di registrazione del 9 dicembre 1964 e una serie di takes di "Acknowledgement" registrate in sestetto il giorno dopo, con Archie Shepp e Art Davis aggiunti al sax tenore e contrabbasso.

Un documento il più completo possibile di quelle due intense sedute di registrazione (alcune tracce erano finora inedite), che ingolosisce chiaramente gli appassionati e che, d'altro canto, non fa altro che confermare quanto baciati dalla grazia siano stati quegli scarsi trentacinque minuti giustamente entrati nella storia.

In un terzo disco presente nell'edizione Super Deluxe trovate la ormai celebre versione dal vivo del 1965 a Antibes.

Non molto altro da aggiungere alla bellezza suprema di questa musica.
