Mark Wingfield

Mark is one of the most original and distinctive electric guitarists today. His improvising is always compelling, continually inventive and melodically uplifting. His guitar playing is steeped in the language of jazz, with influences such as John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Keith Jarrett and Jan Garbarek as well as rock players such as Jimi Hendrix. Other often eclectic influences such as Indian, Japanese and African music also feature strongly in Mark’s playing. These influences are fused with jazz and western classical music, and seamlessly integrated into a unique and highly distinctive musical voice

Marius Billgobenson

A true musical citizen of the world committed to bridging longstanding cultural divides, Stockholm, Sweden based singer, songwriter and guitarist Marius Billgobenson has created a soulful and empowering fusion of jazz, blues, pop, R&B and the dynamic rhythms and vocal sounds indigenous to his homeland of the Congo. His invigorating blend of jazz instrumentation and African music seeks to bring awareness of disenfranchised communities. Kristen Mather de Andrade

Born: December 29

New York-based artist Kristen Mather de Andrade has immersed herself in a broad array of musical worlds and cultures, from the classical canon to world music, and beyond. Devoting time to both the worlds of clarinet and voice, Mather de Andrade has enjoyed a career of prime accolades and acclaim within her chosen musical paths, but these days music feels as vital as ever as she explores being a solo artist. This fresh outlet of releasing her own recorded music has been transformative, as Kristen is already releasing her sophomore album As Bright As The Skies Are Blue on the heels of her debut album Clarão (2021). 

Michael Robinson

Born: March 11, 1956

Michael Robinson is a Los Angeles-based composer, programmer, pianist and musicologist. He voices and colors his compositions with instrumental timbres and scale tunings from diverse world music cultures including India, Africa, the Near East, Japan, China, Korea, Bali, Java, Cuba, Brazil, Australia, Europe, North America and Southeast Asia. He composes using traditional Western notation and programs a computer and electronic sound module to perform his music in real time without overdubbing.

Don Soledad

Inspired by the guitar of flamenco legend; Paco de Lucia, Don Soledad cultivated his sophisticated, soulful sounds in Northern, California, beginning with his early guitar studies with the great Spanish flamenco maestros; Mariano de Cordobá and Agustin Ríos - the nephew of legendary guitarist Diego del Gastor. His studies continued in the Southern region of Spain; Andalucía in the city of Jerez de la Frontera - with guitarist Juan Diego Mateos. Soon thereafter, he was performing shows in San Francisco and the Sonoma and Napa Valley wineries. Daphna Sadeh

Daphna Sadeh is an Israeli born double bassist and composer now based in the UK. Sadeh studied classical music at the Manhattan School of Music in New York before joining the Israeli based East West Ensemble with whom she toured extensively while immersing herself in Middle Eastern and Arabic music. She was later the co-leader of the all female group Eve’s Women playing a blend of jazz, klezmer and rock while again touring extensively and internationally. Following a move to London 2002 saw the release of Sadeh’s first solo album “Out Of Border”. Its success led to the formation of the Voyagers group in 2003

Al Swainger

Born: June 5, 1972

Al Swainger is a musician who happens to be a bassist. He is also a composer, improviser and FX enthusiast. His eclectic tastes have led to making music in a wide variety of genres over the years with literally hundreds of musicians. Covering ground from pop to progressive rock , traditional to modern jazz and fully improvised soundsculpture. Al is always keen to explore new musical territory. Currently he is focusing his unique style on his own experimental composition project Pointless Beauty. An album (After & Before) is due for release later this year featuring Neil Yates, Mike Outram, George & Mark Whitlam. Varun Venkit

Born: January 13, 1986

Taal Inc. & Friends is a band featuring some of the country’s finest musicians and that plays traditional West African folk tunes in a contemporary and modern way. This project is an amalgamation of traditional West African folk songs, afro rhythms, percussive melodies, groovy basslines and devastatingly exploratory improv sections. All in all – it is a treat for every kind of listener. Each song tells a story that is new, dynamic, inclusive, dancy and a whole lot of fun.

Marco Grispo

Born: February 6, 1997

"Marco was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. From a young age, he was introduced to music by his mother, a singer and a music therapist. Having been exposed to a variety of instruments and genres since his early childhood, by the age of 14 he chose guitar as his main one and decided to become a professional musician. Since then, he started teaching and performing with different groups in the Buenos Aires scene, influenced by his love of Jazz and of Argentinian folk music tradition. In August of 2018, he moved to New York to attend the Jazz Program of the City College of New York, and after a year he transferred to The New School of Jazz and Contemporary Music Music with a scholarship from The New School, and the Latin Grammy Cultural Foundation
