Blaise Lantana

Born: May 14, 1961

Blaise Lantana grew up in Philadelphia playing piano and singing and started playing blues in Philly and New York. She eventually moved to Texas, studied guitar and voice at Texas A & M, Corpus Christi, and created a Latin Jazz band to play her original music at festivals in the southwest. In the 90s she moved to Phoenix and put together her band Cool train, playing swing, bossa and blues. Today you can hear Blaise on the radio at KJZZ 91.5 weeknights at 8. And you can hear her sing and play guitar with her band at different venues and events around the valley. She performed with her band at the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix in November and the Musical Instrument Museum in March

Angela T. Clark

Born: June 7, 1969

Performing in commercials since the age of 4, Angela was born in Orangeburg, South Carolina. A true Southern Belle, she has a dual degree in Theatre and Business from South Carolina State University. Her musical introduction began early under the influence of her parents love of jazz. She credits her style to a mixture of Ella Fitzgerald, Nancy Wilson, Nina Simone, Billie Holiday and Lena Horne. Her education into the intricacies of jazz styling was honed under the direction of Dr. Alvin Fulton and the South Carolina State University Jazz Ensemble and had the unique introduction to Jazz greats like Frank Foster, Jimmy Heath, Oscar Peterson and Carmen McRae

Kari van der Kloot

Canadian vocalist Kari van der Kloot presents an exciting new voice on the horizon. Living somewhere in the space between jazz and folk, Kari’s compositions fit seamlessly into a tradition of great Canadian singer-songwriters, such as Joni Mitchell, while still honoring her roots in jazz music.

The current iteration of the Kari van der Kloot Quintet features a stellar cast of New York based musicians, including Canadian violinist Lisanne Tremblay, Canadian pianist Jamie Reynolds, bassist Gary Wang and drummer Nathan Ellman-Bell. The live show keeps the listeners on their toes, from full-on intricately arranged ensemble playing, to four-part vocal harmonies and intimate dialogues between the voice and violin. Currently based in New York and playing at venues such as Rockwood and Cornelia Street Cafe, Kari’s project is exciting new fans with her highly original music. Kari’s debut album “Seedling” was released in 2016, and her new album “The Architects” was released to great acclaim on June 5th, 2020 on Outside In Music’s Next Level imprint.  Kari's 3rd album "Window" will be released on May 3rd, 2024 on TPR Records.

Simona De Rosa

Simona De Rosa is an award-winning singer, composer, educator. Having released two albums as a leader and appearing on numerous albums, she has established herself in the NY jazz scene and continues touring internationally. Born in Napoli, Italy, Simona De Rosa started to play piano at the age of 10. As a teenager she discovered her voice and started singing different types of music from classical to pop and soon become fascinated by jazz and the thrilling possibilities of spontaneous improvisation. While studying geology in Napoli, Simona already had the chance to work with many bands ranging from a duo to big bands
