Sandra Bendor

Born: April 7, 1948

Sandra Bendor has performed for audiences around the world and in 49 of the United States giving concerts of jazz, theatre music, and American and international folk music (with Appalachian dulcimer and guitar). With pianist Liz Magnes, she has performed duo jazz concerts throughout Europe, Israel and the US. Upon graduating Montclair State University in NJ with a degree in Music Education, Sandra was invited to join the Princeton University based National Humanities Series which was presented by the National Endowment for the Humanities. She performed several tours throughout the US for the Series which sent professors of the humanities together with performing artists to towns of fewer than 2500 people

Rochelle House

Born: March 19, 1960

Rochelle enjoys singing, recording, composing and teaching. A native of the California, Rochelle spent many years building musical connections throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond resulting in an ensemble cast that includes many top musicians. She combines a love for music with her passion for social justice and education.  Rochelle has earned a B.A. in Music/ Jazz and a M.A. from Antioch University in Whole Systems Design.  Rochelle has released five albums on her own hand stitched label, House Records.

Willie Pooch

Born: 1937

Born William Johnson in Tupelo, Mississippi in 1936, Willie Pooch made his first instrument as a small boy by nailing four strands of baling wire on the side of his house. His singing career started in church a few years later. At the age of eight, Willie was performing with a variety of Gospel groups, including the 'Spirit of Memphis Quartet' and the 'Gospel Travelers'. Lua Hadar is a multi-lingual vocalist, emcee, comedienne, songwriter, independent producer and arts educator. Her signature “jazz without borders” brings songs from different styles and languages into the jazz idiom. She peppers her cosmopolitan jazz with funny stories, connecting the global dots between her cultural and theatrical influences and her songs. Lua has charmed audiences at venues and international festivals from San Francisco to Hollywood to New York to Paris to Italy to Bangkok.

Independently produced by her own New Performance Group, Lua has released three albums with her band Twist, as well as a live concert film, Like A Bridge. Her first original music video, Our Common Humanity, premiered at the 2018 International Arts Festival in San Francisco. She released her second original music video, Saudade, in May 2020. Lua’s recordings appear on iTunes, Youtube, Google Play, Pandora, Spotify, Amazon, and most digital services.

Marguerita Ann Page

Marguerita Page is one of the nation’s finest musicians. She is a vocalist, composer, voice teacher, and choir director. Marguerita first sang in church in her native Clarksville, Tennessee. At the same time she absorbed the sounds of the blues and R&B heard in her hometown. Her father, a saxophonist introduced her to jazz. Marguerita's mature style blends her gospel and blues roots with jazz in an elegant original way. She has written lyrics to the works of such famous artists as Charlie Parker and Wes Montgomery. Her CD "All My Friends" features world renowned saxophonist Charles McPherson. Before moving back to her home state this year Marguerita performed as soloist and director of the One Human Family Community Choir, at the Idyllwyld Jazz Festival in Idyllwyld, CA and at On Broadway in downtown San Diego, CA. Marguerita’s is currently writing music to some of the scared scriptures of the Baha'i Faith
