Ada Bird Wolfe
Ada Bird Wolfe is a jazz singer and lyricist located in Los Angeles. After many years in other professions, Ms. Wolfe returned to singing, her first love, in 2010. She has performed at venues throughout Southern California including Au Lac, Hollywood Studio Bar & Grill, Gardenia Supper Club, Upstairs at Vitello’s and Bar Fedora. Critics have called her: a “potent jazz singer,” “brilliant” and “magical,” with “stories to tell.” In addition to sets in clubs and restaurants, she has created a number of major shows: The French Show, Vol 1, Jazzography, Chanteuse, Soliloquy and Blues-A-Licious. In 2015 she created Giant Shoulders, a multi-show series exploring jazz musicians and composers, which so far has included: Monk-O-Sphere, And the Word Was Mingus, and The Saint and the Sinner Man: Miles Davis and John Coltrane

he Franco-African jazz singer Cécile Verny, who entered the German jazz charts in Spring 05 to place at 13 with her album "European Songbook", has set yet a further milestone along her musical path with a new program "The Bitter and the Sweet", continuing the tradition for which her ensemble has long been celebrated across Europe. Cécile Verny applies African roots, French song tradition and smooth jazz scatacrobatics to unite the rhythmic pulsing compositions of her quartet. Cécile Verny was born on the Ivory Coast, raised in France and lives today in Germany. She sings in English and in her native language French

Johnaye Kendrick
Johnaye Kendrick was born and raised in San Diego, CA. She received a Bachelor of Music from Western Michigan University in 2005. During her time at Western Michigan, she received a DownBeat Student Music Award for Outstanding Jazz Vocalist, and was featured in an honors recital with pianist Fred Hersch. In the fall of 2007, Ms. Kendrick was accepted to the prestigious Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz. The Artist: Al Goodah Vocalist, composer and songwriter Al Goodah is a passionate believer in the power of music to uplift the spirit. His colorful repertoire draws on a rich cultural heritage of South American and Caribbean influences and varies from romantic soul ballads to jazz, funk, Afro-Caribbean and world music. Born in Paramaribo (Suriname) as Carlo Goedhart, he grew up in a family of singers and musicians. His grandfather played the guitar and had performed as a professional accompanist to silent movies. Terri has been a singer-songwriter-recording artist for 30 years. She has worked with arranger/producer Bob Esty, who has produced the likes of Barbara Streisand, Bette Middler, Donna Summer, Cher, Julio Iglesias to name a few. As a playwright, in 1990 Terri wrote and produced with Bob, Voices of the Velvet Revolution at the Wilshire Ebel Theater. They took the show to Europe with Poet, James Ragan, a Pulitzer Prize nominee with Terri performing the songs of the show. She has recently been getting airplay in London on SW Radio Africa for a song she wrote and recorded “Zimbabwe Drums”

BIO I released my debut album SEASONS OF LOVE in 2012 and I was totally thrilled with the hugely positive response it got, including plays on BBC Introducing and great reviews in Jazz Journal and Jazzwise. I toured the album around the country from Callander Jazz and Blues Festival, Marsden Jazz Festival and Pizza Express, The Pheasantry and had a really great time, with some great live reviews. Now, here we are, 6 years later and I’m releasing my second album, Jazz Just Wants To Have Fun (JJWTHF). Kathy Roberts
Born:
Kathy Roberts was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. and is a much sought after vocalist with a rich contralto voice. After singing with local bands as a teenager she landed a position as background singer for Philadelphia's own Billy Paul during her early 20's. While performing with Billy Paul she often joined him onstage and sang duets with him which were very well received by his audiences. She also enjoyed a brief association with Stevie Wonder before unexpectedly starting her family. While raising her family Kathy restarted her singing career as lead singer for several big bands in the Philadelphia area
