Michael Turner

Michael Turner is a multi-talented musician and vocalist and is also a certified instrumental and vocal instructor. Michael plays and sings R&B, a variety of jazz, funk, and blues. Michael’s influences are Stevie Wonder, Prince, Ray Charles, Bill Withers, Ottis Redding, Nat Cole, and BB King to name a few. Michael performs in Churches, Restaurants, Festivals and a variety of Corporate Venues. He performs with his own band Perfect Harmony out of Palo Alto and Kenny Neal from Baton Rouge Louisiana. Other bands he performs with are Joint Chiefs out of San Jose, INOABAND out of Palo Alto and the Jukebox Allstars out of San Francisco. Michael not only performs with other artists and bands, he is also a solo artist. Michael sings and plays regularly at Johns Grill in San Francisco, Dry Creek Grill in San Jose and Rosie McCann’s in Santana Row. Other venues include Iron Gate Restaurant in Belmont Ca., St. James Gate in Belmont, and Chibo Restaurant in Monterey, Ca. Michael is the lead vocalist for the Big O Band of Oakland Ca., a group of teachers who come together to perform to raise money for the district. The band has played at Yoshis in Oakland and will be performing at the Art and Soul Festival in Oakland.
