Tommy Kesecker

Tommy Kesecker has been performing and teaching around the San Francisco Bay Area for more than 30 years. In the early 80’s he was performing on Drum Kit in Rock Bands and decided to concentrate his efforts on Vibes and percussion. He graduated from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and joined Zakir Hussain and the Rhythm Experience. The group thrives on odd meters and percussive compositions. Tommy has enjoyed freelancing, recording, and being a sideman in a wide variety of musical situations. Born and raised in Santiago, Chile, Urbano was a musical child prodigy who grew up playing both rock drums and classical piano, later studying classical percussion at Chile's National Conservatory, though he’d finally find his own voice through the language of Jazz. He set his mind on expanding the technical possibilities of the Vibraphone in order to attain independence from other harmonic instruments and to have a different template for his compositional and improvisational approach. "Justin "Justefan" Thomas was born in Baltimore, Maryland. He started out on piano, violin, and steeldrums at the age of 6. He was introduced to the vibraphone at the age of 8 by Mr. Wendell Hairston. Soon after, Justin has made two appearances on the nationally televised show, Showtime at the Apollo, achieving 2nd place in their final competition. He graduated from Baltimore School for Arts (BSA) where he studied with Mr. John Locke, percussionist of the Baltimore Synphony Orchestra. He moved to Chicago and received his B.M. in Jazz Studies at DePaul University. Justin has shared the stage with many artists such as: Lionel Hampton, Hank Jones, Cyrus Chestnut, Max Roach, and Wynton Marsalis and the Lincoln Jazz Orchestra

Mattias Ståhl

Mattias is born 1971 in Oskarshamn, Sweden and lives in Stockholm. Have the latest 15 years performed at stages around Sweden and elsewhere, focusing on jazz and improvised music. Released two album of his own with his former quartet Ståhls blå ("Ståhls blå" 2001 and "Schlachtplatte" 2004), which achieved great attention from reviewers all over the world. He also composed all the music for this group. As a sideman he contributes in a lot of exciting groups, from projects with the legend Georg Riedel to collaborations with the swedish indie wonder Emil Svanängen aka Loney Dear. Anthony Smith

Anthony Smith has been performing, arranging, composing and producing music professionally for twenty-five years. As a pianist, keyboardist and vibraphonist, he has worked with many well-known artists in the world of jazz, and also pop, rock and a variety of other genres. In addition to working as a sideman in a large number of both local and touring groups, Anthony has led many of his own bands, performing extensively throughout the U.S., and also abroad on occasion. Alexei Tsiganov
Alexei Tsiganov was born in Leningrad (now St. Petersburg), Russia, into a family of artists, with his father a renowned sculptor, mother, a music teacher, and his older brother, a pianist. Music became Alexei's natural choice. He started playing homemade percussions at the age of four, accompanying his brother, and playing along with the records.
