Having completed his classical training at the Royal Northern College of Music, Jack is currently studying jazz trumpet at post-graduate level at the Royal Academy of Music in London. Jack studies jazz trumpet with Gerard Presencer, Nick Smart and Pete Churchill. At the RNCM, he was a regular member of the RNCM Big Band with who he played with such figures as Norma Winstone, Colin Towns, and Chris Potter. In his second year at the RNCM he won the college's solo brass competition, the Goronwy Evans Brass Prize, and in his third year was awarded with the Terence Greaves Prize for Big Band Composition (for his work with The Sound of the North Big Band)

Gary Wagner "Daddy Wags", is a Trumpeter - vocalist now doing a single act in Central- South Florida. Gary has performed with and arranged /transcribed for Jon Hendricks as vocalist and on trumpet- flugel horn. Gary was singing in a six piece vocal group "Sixth Edition" in The Ohio- Michigan area until he relocated to Vero Beach three years ago. Gary has also played in back-up bands for Bob Hope, Helen O'Connell, Tex Beneke, Mitzi Gaynor and was a member of the Toledo Symphony Orchestra's Jazz Quintet. Craig started playing the trumpet at age 12. Through out high school he excelled in music, earning positions in several honor bands and winning many music awards. After high school he attended Morehead State University where two major events happened: 1) He met his hero and mentor, Mr. Greg Wing, who he credits with instilling within him a work ethic and passion for music that continues to inspire him to this day. 2) Craig discovered and fell in love with jazz music and improvising. While at Morehead Craig received the Musicians Union Performance Scholarship, The Jamey Aebersold Jazz Scholarship and received Outstanding Soloist Awards at the University of Louisville Jazz Festival

Bruce Friedman is a trumpeter based in the Southern California area. He has studied trumpet with Uan Racey, James Stamp, Marco Blaauw and others. After earning his Bachelors Degree in Music at Humboldt State University, he earned a Teaching Credential in Instrumental Music at CSU Los Angeles. He has performed in a broad spectrum of musical styles. These include Jazz, Free improvisation, Symphonic, Pop Music, Brass Ensemble, and Musical Theater. Joe Pino, trumpet and flugelhorn, started playing trumpet at the age of ten. In High School, he was selected to play in the Beverly High School Jazz Band that competed at jazz festivals put on by The International Association of Jazz Educators. From these festivals, Joe won many outstanding soloist awards including two given by Herb Pomeroy and Greg Hopkins. In Joe’s senior year of high school, he won an outstanding soloist award from a jazz competition in New York City competing with over 20 jazz bands in the country. Trumpeter Mat Jodrell is one of the most exciting voices in Jazz today. He has recently returned to Australia after having lived in New York City for the past eight years, performing around the city and teaching at the prestigious Juilliard School of Music. During his time in the States, Mat was a regular member of many ensembles, all of whom he has recorded with. They include Miguel Zenon’s ‘Identities’ Ensemble, Ryan Truesdell’s Gil Evans Project (both Grammy nominated in 2016), Lucas Pino’s No Net Nonet, the Vanguard Jazz Orchestra, Miho Hazama’s M-Unit, Kenny Werner’s ‘No Beginning, No End’, Pedro Giraudo’s Expansions Ensemble, Jon Batiste Band, the Birdland Big Band, the Bill Mobley big band, the Dan Jamieson big band and many others. Since re-locating to the US Mat has had the opportunity to perform with the likes of Benny Golson, Ron Carter, Herbie Hancock, Branford Marsalis, Buster Williams, Hubert Laws, Maria Schneider Orchestra, the Mingus Big Band, James Spaulding, Carl Allen, Terri-Lyn Carrington, Bill Watrous, Gary Bartz, Terence Blanchard, Darcy James Argue, Josh Roseman to name but a few

Tom Madeja is a seasoned performer, director, and composer of a vast and eclectic variety of musical styles, as well as an experienced teacher dedicated to enriching arts education programs throughout the city of Philadelphia. As a trumpet artist, Tom is in high demand throughout the region performing regularly with many of Philly’s top experimental jazz and fusion ensembles as well as with several area orchestras, show bands, and theaters. He is a member of such groups as Bobby Zankel and the Warriors of the Wonderful Sound, Agent Moosehead, L.A. Starz and many more. In addition to contributing to these ensembles, Tom also directs and composes for his own new ensemble, the New Directions Chamber Brass, which was created to update the brass and percussion tradition by bringing together some of Philadelphia’s finest classical and jazz musicians to combine their talents and perform a new innovative brand of chamber music.
