Joe is a jazz trombonist from Beaumont Texas. A broken home, addicted parents and health problems were no obstacle for Joe and his twin brother to overcome. From an early age the Texas Twins' musical talents landed them full scholarships to study jazz music at the prestigious Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan. Continuing their scholarship funded musical education at New School University after which they were among the youngest ever faculty members at NYU where they received their Masters degree. 2008 marked their first CD release The Beaty Brothers Band.
