The group’s popularity peaked during the 1940s, with a string of hits like "I Don't Want to Set the World on Fire" and "Java Jive." Known for their influence on both vocal harmony groups and early rock 'n' roll, The Ink Spots were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 1999.
