The Infinite Ensemble is a collective improvisation group focusing on the explorations of original compositions. Formed in April 2008, the group has been playing a weekly Monday night gig with an open jazz jam for the second set in Somerville, MA ever since. In addition the Infinite Ensemble has performed throughout New England at many local and regional clubs from Ryles Jazz Club in Cambridge, MA to Red Square in Burlington, VT. There have been guest appearances with numerous local and national performers including Phil Grenadier, and Josh Rosen of 3 Play +. Improvisation with a purpose is the main philosophy behind the infinite ensemble
