The Infinite Ensemble's first studio album is a collection of the original compositions and free improvisation that gives the group its backbone. The group consists of Dave Fox (drums), Sven Larson (bass), Alfred Marra (vibraphone and glockenspiel), Patrick Osborne (tenor saxophone), Jeremy Quick (guitar and effects) and Josh Rosen (keyboards and effects).
The album consists of four original tracks, four freely improvised interludes and one full length track of free improvisation.
The Infinite Ensemble played a weekly gig in Somerville, MA for a full year before putting any of the root material down on record which gives the album its tight rhythm section and borderline psychic ability.
