Stardust Big Band is the North Olympic Peninsula’s premier big band jazz ensemble made up of the top jazz musicians in the region. Christine Moon sings top hits from the Great American Songbook.
Stardust Big Band is a 17-piece jazz ensemble with vocalist that has delighted audiences throughout the Puget Sound region. Based in Sequim, WA, the band prides itself on creating a quality musical product for people of all ages and backgrounds to enjoy.
Stardust’s roster includes veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces bands, the Port Angeles and Port Townsend Symphony Orchestras, music educators, and other professional musicians.

Leonard Maxson
Leonard Maxson (Drummer-based in rudimental drumming) Toured the USA, Canada, & Mexico backing many groups and bands doing show work, jazz, rock, blues, pop, & country then did the Nevada - California casino circuit for 6 years backing all styles of music in several bands. After many years of this settled in the Portland area forming the group Lisa & The Persons Three (Lisa Gale, Larry Adair, Ken Lomax,Leonard Maxson) lasting 5 years. Obtained a BA in Music Education and became a public high school band director teaching in Oregon for15 years. Presently returned to performance first backing shows, with jazz sets in between, on the cruise ship The Columbia Queen for a season; on the road was part of Magic Jerry and The Mojo Men, The Frantic Mystics, Take Three, Linda Leigh and The Lads, Southside Jazz Band, Susan and The Sound System, The Tokyo Playmates, Diamond Lil Show, The Riverboat Gamblers, and others.

Internationally renowned jazz guitarist John Stein was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri USA where he took up his instrument at an early age. His talent for and love of music ultimately earned him a faculty position at Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he was a Professor in the Harmony Department. John Stein is an experienced teacher, clinician, recording artist, and author. John has performed as a leader or a sideman with some of the world's finest jazz acts, and his compositions and performances cover the spectrum of jazz styles. John is a prolific recording artist as a leader, in addition to the contributions he has made to other artists' projects

Andreas Hertel

Andreas Hertel is a German jazz pianist, composer, bandleader, and piano teacher. Since the early 90ies he has been active on the German jazz scene.
He published 10 CDs with mainly original compositions in solo, trio, and quintet settings and wrote about 200 jazz tunes, some big band arrangements, and theatre music. Two of his CDs received longlist nominations for a German Record Critic's Award ("Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik"): "Blue Bop" (Trio, 2022) and "Keepin' the Spirit" (2015), feat. guest stars Dusko Goykovich (tp/flh), Tony Lakatos (sax), "Lady Bass" Lindy Huppertsberg (b), Jens Biehl (dr).
His Christmas song "It might be Christmas Every Day" won a "Global Music Award" (Silver Medal) in March 2024.

Originally from Bedford Hills, New York, Carelli is a currently getting his master's degree in Jazz Studies at the University of Southern California's Thornton School of Music. He received his undergraduate degree in Studio Music and Jazz at the University of Miami's Frost School of Music. Marcello is a former Stamps Distinguished Ensemble Scholar, having been chosen out of many applicants to play in a high profile jazz quintet for four years. Kim Peralta
Kim Peralta studied drumset at Havana Music School in Cuba under Alejandro Aguiar from 2017 - 2020. From 2021 - 2024 she played with the SUNY Orange Jazz Ensemble (MIddletown, NY.) Kim now plays with several groups, including Blue Hearts Jazz Ensemble, Hudson Valley Jazzwomen and Unidos Latin Jazz.
