Daniel Duke

Daniel LaCour Duke is a critically acclaimed bassist and composer who has performed with some high profile musicians throughout his career, including Vincent Herring, Louis Hayes, and Mulgrew MIller. Born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Duke’s parents were both classical piano teachers. His father also worked as a solo jazz pianist. When offered a job at a well regarded music school, the family moved to St. Paul, Minnesota where Daniel began learning the violin as a child. Throughout his childhood, he was exposed to jazz, second line and Cajun music on frequent visits to his mother’s family in New Orleans. As a teenager he started playing bass, and by the time he turned 18, he was working regularly as a professional bassist with jazz, rock, and salsa bands in Minneapolis.

Halley Shoenberg

Jazz artist Halley Shoenberg has been a dynamic presence in the greater Washington, D.C. area for several decades. In addition to leading her own exciting ensembles, she is hotly in demand performing and recording on saxophone and clarinet with other top shelf groups in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia. 

She has earned a fine reputation as a performer, arranger and composer, conversant in presenting musical styles from traditional to contemporary jazz, entertaining listeners in venues ranging from intimate clubs to huge ballrooms and festivals. She is a Maryland State Arts Council Touring Artist and on the roster of Jazz Beyond Borders. 

Russ Lorenson

Born: July 5, 1963

A terrific voice. Charisma to spare. A delightful raconteur. Unassuming nice guy. All true of Russ Lorenson, whose burnished tenor and magnetic stage presence have dazzled audiences from San Francisco to Paris.

Over a career spanning more than two decades, the three-time MAC Award nominee has traced an artistic path from musical theatre to cabaret and ultimately to jazz, all rooted in the enduring tradition of the Great American Songbook. He is known for breathing new life into timeless classics, delivering every note with elegance, swing, and soul, whether commanding the spotlight in grand concert halls or captivating listeners in intimate settings.

I have earned an MA from the University of Oklahoma in Administrative Leadership and a BS from the State University of New York with a concentration in Arts Management. I am the principal founding member of the New York State Blues Festival, serving as festival director from 1992-2003, and again in 2013-2014. I co-founded the Syracuse Guinness Irish Festival, serving as festival director from 1999-2003. Both of these community events continue to be popular in Syracuse, NY. 

Paul Cosentino

Born: December 7, 1966

Paul Cosentino has been a full-time musician and bandleader for over 30 years, specializing in classic jazz and popular music from the 1920s to the 1940s. Paul plays an antique Albert System clarinet, which gives him a wonderfully distinctive sound not often heard on today’s bandstands. In addition to providing vocals, Paul also splits time on the alto and tenor saxophones. Paul has an extensive repertoire of tunes encompassing the Great American Songbook- written by some of the best-known composers of American popular song. He is also well versed in early New Orleans jazz, the Swing Era, big band riffs, and everything in between. Paul is known globally for his enthusiastic, energetic, and powerful performances.

Deborah Davis

A jazz vocalist fused with Texas blues, gospel, and soul, she has a natural flowing charm and flawless stage presence that draws you into her show. A native of Dallas Texas, Deborah’s musical development lead her to NEW YORK CITY, where she has carved out a niche for herself on the U.S., European, Asian, Russian, & Middle Eastern jazz scenes. Deborah’s distinct style of phrasing, extraordinary singing ability and professionalism has earned her invitations to perform with legendary jazz greats, RAY BROWN, LIONEL HAMPTON, CLARK TERRY, and a rare opportunity to substitute for ABBEY LINCOLN

Charlie Chech

Born: March, 2004

Sydney-based vocalist and musician Charlie Chech is a lover of jazz and crooning, honouring the likes of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bobby Darin, Tony Bennett, Nat King Cole, Andy Williams, Elvis, Ella Fitzgerald, combined with the modern-day crooners in Michael Bublé, Harry Connick Jnr, Diana Krall and much more.

Charlie has held several sold-out shows at a variety of prestigious venues, including Sydney Jazz Club Foundry 616 and iconic Darlinghurst venue Claire’s Kitchen.

Charlie staged his third major headline show and concert at Hornsby RSL Club in May 2023 – as one of the youngest performers the club has featured in their own headline show ever, an extraordinary feat! He was joined on stage by the Clive Lendich Quintet, featuring some of Australia's top musicians

Jon De Lucia

Born: November 26, 1980

Jon De Lucia is a Brooklyn based saxophonist and composer. Originally from Quincy, MA, Jon has become an integral part of the New York scene. Predominantly a student of jazz, he also has a deep interest in the folkloric music and instruments of Cuba, Japan, Ireland and Italy, having performed on a variety of ethnic flutes, drums and stringed instruments. Jon has led his groups and played as a sideman in Boston, New York and all over Japan with such musicians as Tommy Crane, David Tronzo, Bob Moses, Bob Gullotti, John Lockwood and Thomas Morgan among others. He leads the Jon De Lucia Group, and the baroque improvising Luce Trio
