Harben Kay

Award-winning tenor saxophonist Harben Kay is quickly becoming renowned as one of the UK’s most creative and virtuosic jazz artists, with two critically acclaimed albums, four UK tours and performances at the UK’s most esteemed jazz venues such as Ronnie Scott’s, The Royal Albert Hall and The Vortex.

Their latest album, Golden Sands (2022), was released on Kay’s own label, Sulis Records, in October 2022. The album received high praise from the jazz media, showcasing original compositions that are reflective of Kay’s experiences in their homeland of Scotland, and their time spent living in London and New York City.

Linus Lindblom

Award winning saxophonist and composer Linus Lindblom was educated at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, Sweden. The Lines – Lindblom’s debut as a leader was released in 2007. Sweden’s biggest jazz magazine Orkesterjournalen called it “One of this years best Swedish jazz albums”. Lindblom was the winner of the Swedish Radio award "Jazzkatten" as newcomer of the year in 2008. His second album as a leader Objets Trouvés was released in 2012 and further recognized him as a creative saxophonist and composer to be reckoned with. A well renowned newspaper wrote “This is grand jazz with one of Sweden’s best young saxophonists, and the fact that he also has a style of his own and great integrity makes it an extraordinary experience.” In 2014 Lindblom received one of Sweden’s biggest Jazz music awards with the statement “Linus Lindblom, born in Hälsingland in 1977, has his own musical world both as a saxophonist and composer

Adam Carrillo was born in San Antonio, Texas to musical parents and honed his jazz chops in the curriculum of the highly revered Texas Music Education Association system. Under the direction of Mr. Roland Sandoval of O'Connor High School in Helotes, TX, Adam was selected to the Texas All State Jazz Band his sophomore, junior, and senior year. In 2007 Adam was selected by audition to the Yamaha Jazz Band of America where he performed with the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra alongside the top high school jazz musicians in the country. About Gray Mayfield Gray Mayfield began playing the saxophone at the age of twelve. By the time Mayfield had entered high school, he was already actively playing in church and playing in a funk band with his childhood friends. Mayfield became serious about playing the saxophone after meeting his first saxophone instructor, William T. Robinson who insisted that Mayfield work on his reading skills and technique. With musical roots deep in classical Alto Saxophone, jazz became the challenge of her adult years. Lynn plays Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Bari Sax, and Flute and Clarinet. Bands include: Milwaukee's All-Star Superband, The Hungry Williams, The Southport Sound, and various pit orchestras throughout Southeast Wisconsin. In 2010, Lynn appeared at the Montreux Jazz Festival. Versatile artist Edward Joffe has been a vital part of the New York music scene for forty years as a multiple woodwind performer on all saxophones, clarinets and flutes. He has performed in every type of musical situation and taught from elementary school through graduate school. A native New Yorker, Dr. Joffe performs solo recitals frequently throughout the New York metropolitan area. He holds advanced degrees from Queens College (M.S. in Music Education), The Juilliard School (M.M in Performance) and The Graduate Center of the City College of New York (D.M.A. in Performance). His musical mentors have included Joe Allard, Tom Nyfenger, Eddie Daniels, Ron Reuben, Peter Simenauer, Joseph Rabbai, Paul Dunkel, Michael Parloff, Keith Underwood, Bob Mover, Bob Porcelli and Sandra Miller.

Joris Posthumus

Alto saxophonist and composer Joris Posthumus has been making music since he was six years old. He studied at the conservatory of Rotterdam and Tilburg, and at the same time founded various combos. After graduating, he created The New Quartet in order to set up live projects with leading jazz musicians, including Wolter Wierbos, Martijn Vink, Ben van den Dungen and Yuri Honing. At the end of 2007, pianist Jeroen van Vliet and drummer Pascal Vermeer had joined the Quartet. When their album 'The Abyss' was released in 2009 (distributed by Challenge), the group's name was changed to the Joris Posthumus Quartet. The album was recorded together with sound technician Chris Weeda, pianist Jeroen van Vliet, drummer Pascal Vermeer en bass player Juriaan Dekker (featuring Tom Beek)
