Dean Tsur

A native of Israel, Thelonious Monk semifinalist Dean Tsur has become known for his focus on making fun and romantic jazz music as a saxophonist, composer, and bandleader. Upon completing his Master's at The Juilliard School, Dean formed his band, the Saxophone Choir. Dean has performed with jazz legends such as Roy Hargrove, Wynton Marsalis's Young Stars of Jazz, and Billy Kaye's Quartet. He has performed at numerous jazz venues around the world including Red Sea Jazz Festival, Jazz at Lincoln Center, James Moody Jazz Festival, Cayman Arts Festival, Smalls Jazz Club, Jerusalem Jazz Festival
