Ramiro Pinheiro

Ramiro Pinheiro is a subtle and creative acoustic guitarist from Brazil who is also a talented songwriter. He was mostly self-taught at the beginning, learning the guitar by ear before attending the Conservatório Souza Lima in São Paulo. Pinheiro moved to Barcelona (Spain) 14 years ago and he has been an important part of the local music scene ever since, working with a wide variety of top jazz and Brazilian musicians. While he has appeared on several recordings since 2010, Sentido is his debut CD as a leader.

Clement Regert is a French guitarist from Paris. Since he moved to London in 2005, Clement has played in numerous venues and festivals in the UK such as The London jazz Festival, London Latin-Jazz Festival, Ronnie Scott, 606 club, Pizza Express Soho, Cadogan Hall, Jazz café Posk, The Teignmouth and Marlborough Jazz festival or the Canary Wharf jazz Festival and collaborated with the likes of Lianne Carroll, Tim Garland, Binker Goldings, Natalie Williams, Dennis Rollins, Denys Baptiste, Mark Mondesir, Andrew McCormack, Robert Mitchell, Ross Stanley, Duncan Eagles or Jim Watson to name just a few. He founded Wild Card and recorded/produced his debut album "Mixity" in 2008. Clement Regert is Broadly travelling the same nu-Jazz path as Italy's Nicola Conte but takes a better solo." Roger Aldridge

Born in 1946 in Kansas City, MO, Roger Aldridge discovered jazz as a child thanks to his mother’s collection of big band recordings. Roger started on alto saxophone when he was 9 and developed an interest in composition in his early teens. This led him to study composition & arranging at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. At Berklee, Roger studied jazz composition with Herb Pomeroy and Charlie Mariano, classical composition with William Maloof and John Bavicchi, and woodwinds with Joe Viola. Rodrigo Simoes

Rodrigo Simões is a Brazilian musician and composer who has been living in Quebec - Canada. Through his musical creations, he shares a distinctive style that oscillates between Brazilian music and jazz improvisation. His international career has taken him through China, Australia, Paraguay and the United States, in addition to his native country – Brazil – and his adopted country – Canada. Early on in his musical career, this guitarist and mandolinist has already collaborated with great artists in Brazil (Elza Soares, Carlos Malta, Paulinho da Viola, Dominguinhos, Zeca Baleiro and Paulo Moska) and in Canada (Bill McBirnie, Joel Miller, Flavia Nascimento, Alex Lefaivre, Sonia Jonhson and Jean-Pierre Zanella)

O Som Do Jazz

Based in St. Petersburg, Florida, this sextet features Rio de Janeiro singer Andrea Moraes Manson and a crew of experienced Latin jazz musicians performing samba-jazz, Bossa Nova, Balanço, Baião and MPB. O Som Do Jazz (the sound of jazz in Portuguese) recaptures the grace, energy and spirit of 1960s Brazilian music.

Trained as an architect, O Som Do Jazz singer Andrea Moraes Manson moved to the Tampa Bay area from Rio de Janeiro, she began performing with her jazz musician husband, David Manson. Andrea has a natural understanding of this wonderful music and sings from the heart, like only a Brazilian can, in Portuguese and English

Mauricio de Souza

Born in Brasília, Brazil, Maurício de Souza is a professional jazz drummer who easily performs in both traditional jazz and Brazilian jazz styles. De Souza was a pupil of world renowned jazz drummer Joe Morello. Coming from a musical family, de Souza began playing drums at age eleven. His early interest in complex music led him to explore numerous styles ranging from progressive rock, to classical music, to jazz. Since 2004, de Souza has directed/performed with his own groups: Maurício de Souza Group (Straight Ahead Jazz) and Bossa Brasil® (Brazilian Jazz).
