Trained as a Classical vocalist at the prestigious Cathedral of St. John the Divine in NY, Carl performed with them in venues such as Philharmonic Hall, Carnegie Hall, Rockefeller Center, et al. After graduating from the Cathedral he sang for two years with the Little Church around the Corner (the Actors' Church) performing in Broadway shows such as Annie, West Side Story and Le Turandot. After a hiatus of over 30 years music has come full circle in his life through two separate events. One is his involvement with Marcia Miget's Miraflores Music and Academie as Operations Manager and vocalist in one of her bands

Being the disciple of World renowned Gurus Late Ustad Chhamma Khan of Delhi Gharana followed by his son Padamshree Late Ustad Shafaat Ahmed Khan become the powerhouse performer of TABLA

Melena Francis

Melena's formal training began on the drums when she was a teenager. Master percussionist Luis Conte was instrumental in shaping her early development. In 1988, Melena returned to Cuba for the first time since leaving as a child. While in Cuba, Melena studied with the "Conjunto Folklorico Nacional de Cuba". She has also studied with the legendary percussionists and folklorists Mario Jauregui, Regino Jimenez and Lazaro Ros. This experience gave her a solid foundation, offering her a unique sound which is distinctly her own. Kevin Diehl is a musician/composer whose work centers on extending traditional folk forms to modern contexts. He has immersed himself modern compositions rooted in folk forms, yoruba cultural music, american jazz, Afro Cuban spiritual and secular forms, and abstract forms.

He was profoundly influenced by diverse innovators: from 80's New York loft scene's Air & Sam Rivers, to electronica's Brian Eno and the Orb, to avant garde modern composers Ornette Coleman, Albert Ayler, Karlheinz Stockausen, and minimalist Morton Feldman, to traditional Afro Cuban folk performers Papo Angarica and Alfredo Coyoute Videax.

Vernon Allan Joseph Chatlein Born: 28 November 1984, in Willemstad-Curacao Vernon Chatlein is Curaçaoan percussionist with a background in Afro-Cuban, Latin Music and Jazz. Mulatu Astatke is an innovative multi-talented musician, composer, arranger and the founder of Ethio Jazz. Born in Jimma, Ethiopia, Mulatu Astatke studied at Lindisfarne College and Trinity College of Music in England and Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA. As a vibraphone, conga and percussion player, he has performed at numerous concerts in Ethiopia and abroad, including appearances at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC, Lincoln Center in New York, Beethoven-Haus in Bonn and Barbican Center in London.
