Hubert Dupont
Born:
The poetic alchemy in his music shows his fascination for new forms - improvisation has to be a game with new rules – as well as unexpected elements of rooted traditions, with an expressive and steady tone. In 2005, he was named as the best Newcomer of 2005 for his bass-solo album Ultraboles. He leads Dupont T, inviting indo-new-yorker sax player Rudresh Mahanthappa, and releases the acclaimed Spider’s Dance in 2007. He leads Golan and Jasmim, two jazz bands with contemporary oriental flavours. He leads VoxXL!, an encounter between Mike Ladd’s spoken word and its traditional Senegalese version : the “tassou”, sung by Ibrahima Diasse. He plays the double-bass in KARTET (since 1990 with Benoit Delbecq, Guillaume Orti & Chander Sardjoe), and electric bass in THÔT, Stephane Payen’s band

Nono Roland Rakotondrainibe
Composer, singer and multi-instumentist music player, Nono (Roland Rakotondrainibe) plays sax, guitar and piano since he was a teenager. Born and raised in Madagascar, a country where music is everywhere and people do sing and play at any circumstance, Nono has been one of the country's pop stars in the 80/90s, surely the #1 among large cities' young people While enjoying this pop star status, Nono has never let apart his love, jazz music; he has carried on playing at local jazz clubs in Antananarivo (Madagascar) and later on in Lyon and Paris (France) which is his hometown nowadays. Mid-90s, Nono decided not performing nor touring anymore with his pop/rock band for focusing definitively on jazz by playing only in jazz clubs and also by being a full-time jazz professor at "Conservatoire de musique" of Lyon (the 2nd largest city in France) Beginning of 2014, Nono has decided to come back on stage by setting up a newly jazz group, #NonoJazzQuartet, with an ambition to bring to the world of jazz an unique colorful style: a music based on a blend of malagasy soul music, brazilian bossa swing and the groovy way of playing saxophone 'à la' Michael Brecker. #NonoJazzQuartet plays great jazz standards such as All blues, Blue in green, 500 miles high, Goodbye pork pie hat, etc..

Edgardo Plasencia
Born:
I am a music composer and producer. I have spent my formative years intensively experiencing the development of the greatest pop and rock music of the music history. After that, I decided to become a musician , increasingly learning in depth the intelectual and emotional side of the classical music, jazz in all its forms , and avantgarde orchestral and chamber music. I became a composer of so called academic music , but instead of following blindly the dogma and ideologies related to the avantgarde music , I let myself be nurtured by other music areas , mainly modern jazz and electroacoustic music and by the newest expressions of visual art. At this stage of my life I'm highly involved in the composing and playing of jazz music : bebop, modal jazz and jazz rock fusion mainly.
