Leon Spencer

Born: November 1, 1945

Leon Spencer was an American jazz organist from Houston, Texas. He played piano with David Newman and organ with Melvin Sparks. Spencer recorded for Prestige in the early 1970s with Buddy Caldwell, Idris Muhammad, Melvin Sparks, and Grover Washington Jr.

Ryan Burns

Born: January 11, 1972

Ryan Burns studied piano at Berklee School of Music in Boston, and has been teaching and playing music professionally for over 20 years. He has performed with Rock and Roll Hall-of- Famers Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin, Yardbirds), Matt Cameron (Pearl Jam, Soundgarden), Mike McCready (Pearl Jam), Ann & Nancy Wilson (Heart), Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Rick Nielson (Cheap Trick) and Duff MacKagan (Guns and Roses); as well as with elite jazz artists such as Wayne Horvitz, Skerik, Matt Jorgensen, Thomas Marriott, Bobby Previte, Bobby Watson and others. Burns has played piano with the Tacoma Symphony, wrote music for the Food Network TV show “Food Nation with Bobby Flay,” and played piano with the group Thunderpussy for the soundtrack of the Hollywood movie “Fighting with My Family.” Burns spent time on faculty at University of Puget Sound and Pacific Lutheran University

Bob Wijnen

Born: August 3, 1971

Bob Wijnen is a pianist of great sensitivity and depth. Much in demand as an accompanist, he is known for having some of the best ears around, as well as being an elegant and adventurous soloist who has absorbed a great deal of the history of jazz piano. He has toured Indonesia (Java Jazz Festival), Michigan USA, and Iceland, and can be heard on CDs by Maygus (Double Moon Records), Sanna van Vliet – Insight (Munich Records), Klemens Marktl Quartet featuring Jasper Blom – The Challenge (Jazz’n’Arts), Triplicate featuring Eric Ineke and Equinox with Dutch jazz giants Sjoerd Dijkhuizen and Marcel Serierse. Tobin Mueller

Born: December 3, 1955

Tobin Mueller is a composer, playwright and interpretive pianist living in Connecticut. His musical compositions range from Jazz Fusion to Progressive Rock, Broadway musicals to Old-School Funk, Jamband classics to Classical ballet. In the late 1970s he was one of several composer-pianists who developed what became known as New Age music, although Tobin's style identifies more closely with complex modal/post-bop jazz. Mueller is a NYC Dramatist Guild playwright/lyricist, a member of ASCAP, and has appeared on over 35 albums.

Born into a music loving family, Ellister van der Molen started out young at the special talent class of The Hague's Royal Conservatory. While initially starting as a classical player, through the years she has established herself as a leader and soloist in a wide array of musical genres. Her CD “Smalls NYC” got critical acclaim, leading to invitations for major venues such as the prestigous North Sea Jazz Festival. Currently Ellister is a co-leader of the succesful soulful Hammond jazz band RED, that’s releasing it’s second album November 2020. Andreas Hellkvist

Born: May 26, 1976

Expressive, virtouoso and playful – words commonly used to describe the artistry of Swedish Hammond organ player Andreas Hellkvist. Rooted in the soul jazz tradition he has developed a unique style of his own. With his two hands on the manuals and stops and a rarely seen left foot groove on the pedals he utlilizes the full potential of the Hammond B3. Andreas discovered the Hammond organ in his late teens during the organ jazz revival of the 90s. There and then, he decided to focus entirely on this instrument, to learn all the ins and outs and how to use it in its entierty. The soul jazz originating from the organ scene of the 60s were his first inspiration and still remains the core of his playing, but his current style reflects a significantly wider spectrum of influences
