Ronald Van Deurzen
Ronald Van Deurzen is a pianist, organist and keyboardist as well as a cinematic composer. He uses a wide variation of instrumental backing in his music, ranging from orchestra to world instruments and synthesizers.
Influenced by classical, jazz, 80s/90s progressive rock and global fusion, he has collaborated with numerous bands (folkrock / Americana / prog) and live orchestra. As an independent artist, he has also released his own albums and singles. His work has earned him prestigious recognition, including accolades from the InterContinental Music Awards & Hollywood Music In Media Awards.
Notable piano and organ credits includes contributions to Euphoria Station’s progressive Americana albums The Reverie Suite (2019) and Smoking Gun (2025), appearing alongside musicians such as guitarist Hoyt Binder, Saskia Kraft van Ermel, drummer Toss Panos (Robben Ford), bassist Jorgen Carlsson (Gov’t Mule), and harmonicist Tollak Ollestad (Kenny Loggins/Andrea Bocelli), among others.

Lessons feature excerpts from freelance projects as a pianist / composer. It includes in depth analysis of the creative process as well as technical aspects. Helps students to overcome practice hardships and breaks them down into smaller steps. Easygoing teaching style, a multicultural pedagogic approach.
