Joe Gil is a native of Brooklyn, New York. He started playing the trombone in sixth grade. Many people have asked me why I chose the trombone. " The main reason was that when I was in grade school they needed people for the band. I knew if I took band I could get out of other classes for private lessons. So I thought this was a great idea. I had the choice of playing tuba, baritone or the trombone. The trombone was the smallest and easiest to carry so it was a no brainer". He formed his own bands in high school and besides doing classical and big band gigs, was also doing some studio work during this time

Russ Kaplan is a musical storyteller. A creatively restless composer and versatile keyboardist, his diverse musical obsessions have led him through the worlds of jazz, rock, and theatre music.
A recent transplant to the Twin Cities of Minnesota, Russ is continuing to explore his obsessions with world music, indie rock, and modal improvisation. His newest project is a trio with local luminaries Jeremy Ylvisaker (guitar) and Marcus Wise (tabla).
Previously, Russ resided in central Florida for a year, where he found inspiration with the abundant and fascinating wildlife. The result was the album Lake Songs, his first foray into thru-composed solo piano chamber music.

Apart from these he has interests in Jazz, Rock, Latin Troubadour, Dominican folklore and everything eclectic. Influences go from Frank Zappa to Giorgy Ligueti, John Zorn, Luis Dias, Luis Alberto Spinetta, Living Colour, John Coltrane, Slayer, Juan Luis Guerra and many artists that you wouldn`t find in the same shelf of a record store

A native of Brooklyn, New York, he now calls Atlanta home. His influences are Jaco Pastorius, Jimmy Haslip, Lee Ritenour, Leland Sklar, and others. He has performed over the years on numerous commercials and studio sessions, and performed live across the NY metro area's venues.

BORN TO CLASSICAL PIANO TEACHERS in 1953 in Virginia, Kit Watkins studied piano at home from ages 5 through 13. During his teen years, Kit was drawn to rock music and became a driving force behind a series of local bands, playing organ, synthesizer, and flute, as well as singing lead. By age 18, he was discovering his own writing abilities. He soon joined up with the band Happy The Man (HTM) which was forming at the local university. It was with HTM that Kit honed his skills in composing, performing, arranging, and producing. During its original six years, the band recorded five albums, including two produced by Ken Scott and released on Arista Records
