About the Album
After the successful release of his award-winning second album The Happy Worrier, Kasper Rietkerk recorded a live EP with all music written for this album, but played in a very intimate and exciting live setting. The EP has an intriguing lineup with two guitar players: Billy Marrows and Dom Howard, and Rietkerk playing the saxophone and flute. The three of them present the music in a very personal and vulnerable way. You can immediately feel the excitement and engagement that people felt in the room during the performance at the Ropewalk (Ropery Hall, Barton upon Humber, UK). To make the selection of songs feel like a stand alone release, Rietkerk did some aftereffects to make the EP flow from start to end.
