SYNOPSIS From 2003, year of release of his first album Less is More, Mauri Sanchis (born in Alcoy, 1974) has been positioned as one of the most well known musicians worldwide in the groove scenario within blues, funk, jazz or sould through various achievements and awards. Announced as first ever Spain’s endoser of Hammond and Moog as well as as first Spaniard musician to be signed by prestiged german label BHM. Winner of the AJH awards for best live act, best album and best single as well as winner of the Kultur Cam award for his support to the cultural scenario in the province of Alicante. Some of his tracks have been included in compilatory albums together with great stars like John Scofield, Mike Stern, Scott Henderson o Chano Dominguez. Sanchis has played in numerous remarkable festivals oustanding Pori Jazz Festival (Finland) and Jazz San Javier. Has played or recorded together with great stars like Bill Evans, Dean Brown, Joey DeFrancesco, Popa Chubby, Frank Marino, Vargas Blues Band or Devon Allman among others. BY DATES With a self-taught career, his first contact with the Blues comes in 1994 through a cover band called Progressions, leaving behind an adolescence of composing influenced by Vangelis, Jarre o Mike Oldfield. In 1995 travels to the US for college studies which shares with live playing together with Jay Wood o Gary Hamilton. Back in Spain, collaborates with diverse musicians and formations including the phenomenal british guitarist Graham Foster. In 2003, decides to start his solo career with the album LESS IS MORE getting a great welcome by media and public and which leds the band to travel around Spain. The release of Less is More has a noticeable repercusion in the international Hammond scenario leading Mauri to become Spain’s first ever Hammond endorser in 2005. In 2006, his second album, GOOD VIBES!!! is added to the catalogue of the well-known germal label BHM (Maceo Parker, Hiram Bullock, Tok Tok Tok, etc...) receiving a unanimous reviews including AJH awars for best album and best track. Good Vibes!!! is also released in Argentina, Uruguay and Chile by the label Blue Art. Such repercusion reaches a peak point when one of Mauri’s tune is included in the Funky Planet Earth compilation together with tracks of Scott Henderson, Joe Zawinul, John Scofield, etc... The Good Vibes!!! tour takes Mauri Sanchis Band to participate in all kinds of events through Spain like Jazz San Javier, getting the best of the reviews and is invited to play in a Jam Session by Popa Chubby, the king of blues of New York. At the same time, plays live with diverse artists like Kepa Junkera or Vargas Blues Band in the album Flamenco Blues Experience playing keyboards and composing together with Raimundo Amador, Frank Marino, Devon Allman, etc... In 2008, the release of the DVD MORE VIBES!!!, Live at Jazz San Javier will have a nice tour including Pori Jazz Festival (Finland). Furthermore, also in 2008, Mauri is signed as first Moog endorser ever and wins the AJH award for best live act and Kultur CAM award for the cultural support to the province of Alicante.

Wil Blades

Born: August 25, 1979

From cookin’ with Blues legend John Lee Hooker, organ summits with B-3 master Dr. Lonnie Smith, television and radio appearances, young Wil Blades is gaining critical acclaim and international recognition. Blades, a native Chicagoan, has become the San Francisco Bay Area’s first call organist and is rapidly gaining momentum throughout the country. In 2007 and 2008, he was named in the Downbeat critics poll under “Rising Star” for organ. For the past several years, Wil has been wowing Bay Area audiences with groups such as “O.G.D.,” “Motherbug”, “Amendola Vs. Blades”, “Steppin’.” In addition to performing with legendary artists such as John Lee Hooker and Dr. Lonnie Smith, Wil has performed and recorded with Melvin Sparks, Idris Muhammad, Joe Louis Walker, Don Braden, Donald Harrison, Karl Denson, Will Bernard, Scott Amendola, Charlie Hunter, Stanton Moore, Betty Joplin, Eddie Marshall, Herbie Lewis, and many others.

Rick Allen

Born: March 15, 1943

Rick started his career in the 60s playing Hammond B3 in South Central L.A. jazz clubs made famous by Jimmy Smith, Jimmy McGriff and Groove Holmes. Later he played with Howlin' Wolf, Sonny Boy Williamson, Etta James, Delaney and Bonnie, Dr. John, Ernie K-Doe and many more. As a studio musician in New Orleans, he received Grammy Nomination in 2000 for his playing on Gloryland with the Dukes of Dixieland. His memoir for musicians, "F'n'A, My Crazy Life in Rock and Blues" is being published by Blooming Twig Books of New York and Tulsa, soon to be released in e-book, soft and hard cover formats.

Jon Hammond

Born: March 20, 1953

Jon began his musical career at age 12 in the San Francisco Bay Area playing organ and accordion in bands and solo engagements, first recording studio dates 1968 when he met Robert Moog who personally delivered the Moog III to San Francisco Radical Laboratories where Jon was working at the time and jamming daily with members of Quicksilver Messenger Service, he next joined original rock band Hades with which he played until moving East to attend Berklee. Playing 7 nights a week in Boston's notorious Combat Zone next lead to touring with successful show band Easy Living and then became house organist at the exclusive Wychmere Harbor Club Cape Cod MA where he played private parties for Tip O'Neill Speaker of The House

organissimo

Born: November 1, 2000

Organist Jim Alfredson and guitarist Joe Gloss originally met at Michigan State University in 1997. Together they co-lead various groups. In early November of 2000 organissimo was born after teaming up with drummer Randy Marsh. His experience as an organ drummer and leadership served as the last piece of the puzzle. In the years since, organissimo has had an influence on other organ groups and is recognized as one of the premiere organ-based trios worldwide. In 2010 guitarist Joe Gloss left to pursue a career in the medical field and was replaced by young Detroit guitarist Ralph Tope, whose soulful contribution can be heard on "Dedicated", the latest CD release
