New Jazz Records is a record label based in Leeds run by composer/educator/trumpet player James Hamilton. The label was set up to help Leeds based jazz artists to record, release and promote new music. Previous releases include ‘New Jazz Records Live’ a collection of live recordings from jazz venues around Leeds, The Jamil Sherif Trio, Drawing Hands, Treppenwitz, Wandering Monster, Kevin Holbrough (featuring Dave Newton) and James Hamilton Jazz Orchestra.
