AP Project
Active since:
The Arcangelo Pezzella Project is not just the name I use to register my recordings; it's my idea of jazz. It has no boundaries; it cannot be strictly confined in a style, a groove, a sound, and not labeled in any way. On the contrary, it blends a world of sounds to create new ones. That is my aim: trying to create new things from old ones, exploring idioms, rules, harmonic choices, grooves and more, and finding new ways to express what I am, feel and think. To do so, the need for incredibly talented and like-minded musicians is of the utmost importance and, luckily, I found them: Guido Foi (piano and keys), Alessandro Petricciuolo (bass), Francesco Pellegrino (drums) and featured artist Angela Addezio (vocals). "Out Of The Blue", shows the results of it: no track is the same, and yet they are linked in unexpected ways, leading the listener from a world to the next one in a smooth and smart way. In conclusion, I want to thank you for reading this and I really wish you will enjoy your musical journey with us

Zona Sud
At the end of 2010, Mario Schettini (piano and keyboards) and Guglielmo Saracca (bass) met to give life to a new musical project. There were many ideas but the project did not yet have its own identity. Only a year later, in 2011, with the entry of guitarist Enzo Passaro, it’s more clear the idea of experiment and merge melodies and colors linked to the sounds of Neapolitan music with the expressive and improvisational freedom that distinguishes jazz. In 2012 with the entryl of Massimo Pacella on drums, the project takes concrete form and born "Zona Sud", a band strongly linked with its homeland. In the summer of 2013, after a long and tiring work, I Love My Funky is presented as the first single for the band's official debut at the national contest Musica E

Stefano Falcone
Born:
Stefano Falcone is an Italian pianist and composer. Based in Naples (IT) he currently works in in Italy and Europe as pianist, composer and bandleader. Falcone’s pianism is never short of lyricism or drama, but these qualities generally come unexpectedly and silently, filtered through an adventurous sensibility and the strategic use of silence that indicates its reflective - although never passive - nature. A versatile and sought-after professional, he has so far performed on many European stages (Italy, Sweden, Scotland, Denmark, England, Faroe Islands, Belgium, Portugal).
