Margot spent two and a half years building the work; selecting seasoned titans Geoffrey Keezer, Billy Kilson, Seamus Blake, Ingrid Jensen, and Munyungo Jackson, and working the arrangements and recordings to her complete satisfaction. Included in the liner notes is the phrase ‘All vocals recorded without use of any pitch correction technology,’ which sums up the care and attention she has paid to Power Flower

Giuliano Ligabue is an Italian singer, guitarist, arranger and composer. He is an exceptional interpreter of the Great American Songbook, endowed with a crooner’s voice and a great mastery of guitar. He is one among the few musicians in Italy who plays a seven strings guitar inspired by George Van Eps, Bucky and John Pizzarelli. Marya Lawrence was born into a talented family of musicians, and from her first day on the planet was surrounded by music. Her father, saxophone legend the late Arnie Lawrence, would bring Marya to his gigs, where she heard and absorbed the best musicians in New York.
