Kristina Barta

Critics have described Czech pianist Kristina Barta as “fiery, expressive, eloquent, and stubborn.” Originally admitted to the Prague Conservatory as an oboist, she later embraced the piano and earned a prominent position in the Euroradio Jazz Orchestra, garnering several prestigious awards.
Barta, recognized internationally as both a composer and pianist, embarked on her musical journey after studying classical music and composition at the Prague Conservatory. She graduated from the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, specializing in jazz piano. Her career has taken her on a constant whirlwind of tours, gracing renowned venues worldwide, including Jazzahead! (Germany), Bimhuis (Netherlands), Montreux Jazz Festival (Switzerland), Steyr Jazz Festival (Austria), V4 Jazz Festival (Hungary), Strasbourg’s Jazzdor (France), D'Jazz Nevers (France), A Trane (Germany), and many others.

Charu Suri

Formed in the spring of 2018, the trio consists of Charu Suri on the piano, J. Brunka on the double bass, and Jay O'Brien on the drums. The ensemble has received praise for its renditions of standards and original music. Its debut album, "Lollipops for Breakfast," with original music composed by Suri, debuts soon. Charu Suri has been playing the piano since the age of five, and won an international piano competition at the age of 15. She has a Piano Performance certificate from Princeton University, where she received her undergraduate degree, and a Master’s in Music from the Manhattan School of Music. Her piece for chamber orchestra, “The Shield of Achilles” was performed by the Princeton University Chamber Ensemble

Rob Mullins

Rob Mullins has built his musical reputation in the Hollywood world with a solid string of releases in the contemporary jazz field over the past 30 years. His rise to international acclaim as a composer and performer began with his "Soulscape" project, which earned him a Grammy Nomination for composition. Since that time, Rob has gone on to record 37 CD's of his music (42 albums total), three of which went Billboard Top Ten. His latest releases include "Wise Man and the Ballerina" in 2023, "This Way Up!" released in August 2021 and "The Nearness of You" released in Nov 2018. In May of 2021, Rob was was selected by Hubert Laws to perform a Tribute to Chick Corea which was sponsored by Live with Carnegie Hall. The video is on Youtube. Rob has been the keyboardist and pianist for Hubert Laws for many years and is featured on many of Hubert's albums.

Artur Dutkiewicz Polish jazz pianist and composer. Born in Pinczów, Poland in 1958. He graduated from The Academy of Music in Katowice, Poland and received diploma with distinction. Dutkiewicz was a finalist of the Thelonious Monk Competition in Washington, USA. He was the first Polish musician who played a solo recital at MIDEM in Cannes. He is one of the most concerting abroad Polish jazz musicians. Rebecca Hass is a pianist and composer in the San Francisco Bay Area whose work has “a witty sensibility, lyricism, and joy.” Her debut Brazilian album, Florescer (Bloom), was described as “thoughtful as it is clever and original” and “a delightful 43 minutes of musical sunshine”, and includes guests Tim O’Keefe, Jenny Klukken, and Laura Harada.
Her new album of original piano music, Bright Little Worlds, is an imaginative, heart-filled collection of 22 compositions in various styles (Brazilian, jazz, impressionistic, neo-classical, and more) and is arranged in a hero’s journey-style narrative trajectory where each one is its own character or little world - something for every mood. It features guest musicians Debbie Gold (flute) and Brian Rice (pandeiro), and is inspired by influences as diverse as Hermeto Pascoal, Laercio de Freitas, Claude Debussy, Aaron Copland, Vince Guaraldi, and Thelonious Monk.

Musically and geographically she crosses and transcends borders, bringing together different influences. Her music flows between Jazz, Classical, and lyrical as well as rhythmic free improvisation, riddled with imagination.
She is associated with these projects: Tangerine, Lisa Hoppe's YSOP, King Josephine, Zahir, Maura MoC, and Danielle Friedman Trio.
Danielle’s debut album "School of Fish” was recorded with her New York Trio in Brooklyn in 2017, with Aron Caceres on bass and David Jimenez on drums. The album was released alongside a short European tour in 2018 and received excellent reviews from acclaimed magazines.

Renato Diz is a Portuguese pianist, composer and producer based in New York. Born in Porto, Portugal, Renato studied classical piano exclusively for 12 years, under the tutelage of Dr. Rui Pintão, at Fundação Conservatório Regional de Gaia. A chance encounter with jazz at a concert by pianist and composer Carlos Azevedo, introduced him to the world of improvised music and he decided to pursue his studies in this art. In 2004 he became a private student of Carlos Azevedo and in 2006 he was accepted in the leading jazz program on the Iberian Peninsula at the time, for a Bachelor’s Degree in Musical Performance at ESMAE - IPP in Porto

Jerry Pellegrino

Jerry Pellegrino grew up in Plainfield, New Jersey (USA). A born musician, he started taking piano lessons at age 8. In high school he added drums to his repertoire, and with his brother Jim went on to study at the prestigious Harlem Jazz Mobile in New York. Jerry moved out to the West coast in 1979, where he quickly established himself as a performer and teacher in the Los Angeles area. Still only in his 20's, he appeared in the 1984 Summer Olympics opening ceremonies, For the last 25 years, Jerry has been dedicated to teaching full time, bringing his love of music to the next generation of performers. Jerry is a firm believer in the power of music to better the lives of those less fortunate than he. Since 2011, he has headlined annual benefit concerts at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center, in order to raise money for the R.B
