Lorenzo Ditta is an Italian jazz pianist, composer and educator based in Rome. He studied jazz piano at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague and spent nearly ten years living and working in the Netherlands, an experience that played a central role in his musical development.

His music is rooted in the jazz tradition while remaining open to contemporary approaches to harmony, form and improvisation. Over the years, his activity has taken him across Europe, North and South America, Australia and Asia, shaping an artistic path influenced by different musical environments and cultures. At the center of his work is a strong interest in interaction, musical dialogue and the balance between written material and spontaneous development.

Chris DeRosa is a Professional Freelance Drummer/Producer/Composer who currently lives in New York City, although his experience has taken him to many parts of the world (over 55 countries). Chris was born in New Haven, Connecticut but later moved to nearby Guilford where he took up the drums. At a very young age Chris was mesmerized by the sounds of the ecm record label he would hear pouring out of his radio on WPKN’s late night Jazz program. He was fortunate enough to get a scholarship to attend the Educational Center For The Arts (ECA) High School and at 16 studied with North Texas University famed Drumset Professor Ed Soph while he was on sabbatical in Connecticut.

Alvaro Rojas is a guitarist, composer and educator based in Vancouver B.C. As a guitarist he has been a regular performer with local pop, r’n’b, and free improv artists, as well as leading his own Alvaro Rojas Trio and the dub reggae band Big Buck. As a composer, Alvaro has had his works performed by many of Canada’s finest new music groups, including the Turning Point Ensemble, Aventa Ensemble and the Microcosmos String Quartet. He has written music for choir, big band, orchestra and various chamber groups, and has scored 15 short films. His passion for many types of music is synthesized in the trio’s recent recording, Gala, which brings a broad range of influences together in the familiar guitar/bass/drums trio setting

Michel Banabila, born 1961, is a composer, sound artist and producer. His music has been released since 1983, and he has produced musical scores for numerous films, documentaries, theatre plays and choreographies. His work varies from minimal loop-based electronica, fourth world, and neo-classical pieces, to drones, experimental electronica, tribal ambient, and punk-as-fuck tape music. In addition to acoustic instrumentation, Banabila uses samples, electronics, synths, found objects and field recordings. His work has been released internationally by labels like 12th Isle (UK), Bureau B (DE), Knekelhuis (NL), Eilean Rec (FR), Pingipung (DE) and Séance Centre (CA).
