Lorenzo Ditta

Lorenzo Ditta is an Italian jazz pianist whose music balances tradition and contemporary exploration. After nearly ten years in the Netherlands, he has developed a personal language that merges a deep understanding of jazz roots with a constant search for new forms of improvisation, always keeping communication and dialogue at the forefront.

Through original compositions and spontaneous improvisations, Lorenzo has performed around the world, leaving a mark with his sensitivity and distinctive approach to music. From Rome to Amsterdam, with stops in New Orleans, Buenos Aires, Sydney, and Macau, his style has evolved through these rich cultural encounters, shaping a profound and self-aware musical vision.

His album 3D marks the culmination of this journey: a trio-based project exploring the three-dimensional nature of sound and improvised music, blending structure and freedom, emotion and form. It is a work where music unfolds as an ongoing dialogue, with ideas, expressions, and relationships continuously intertwining. Every note reflects the genuine conversation between the musicians and their audience.
