A mainstay on the New York Jazz Scene, bassist Pete Coco recently released his debut album as a leader, “Lined with a Groove,” which features drummer Matt Wilson and pianist Sullivan Fortner. The LP is an homage to his mentors and influences, with fresh arrangements of tunes by bassists including Ron Carter, Milt Hinton, Ray Brown, Charlie Haden, Paul Chambers and more.

Pete has performed with many jazz greats including Matt Wilson, Jane Monheit, Bucky Pizzarelli, Zach Brock, Melissa Aldana, Ken Peplowski, Harry Allen, Bruce Forman, Joel Weiskopf, Frank Vignola, Chuck Redd, and Warren Vache, among others

Robert Kennedy

Robert Kennedy plays jazz organ, piano, and accordion in freelance solo and group settings, and is the accordionist in the acclaimed group Mission Hot Club.

Born and raised in the American South, Robert has lived and worked in the San Francisco bay area since 1988. He played piano in the Stanford University Jazz Band and studied jazz piano with the great jazz pianist, band director, and educator Bill Bell. Robert helped found the groups Hip Pocket Jazz Quintet and Double Funk Crunch, and has had the pleasure of playing venues such as Yoshi's, the Boom Boom Room, the Agenda Lounge (back in the day) and the SFJAZZ Miner Auditorium with renowned players such as Nancy Wright, Calvin Keys, Will Weston, Terrence Brewer, and many more, playing jazz, blues, R&B, and rock and roll. Among his many inspirations Robert counts the playing of Jack McDuff, Billy Childs, Larry Goldings, Herbie Hancock, and Tony Monaco.

Gilbert Castellanos, renowned musician, composer, curator, educator and arranger based in San Diego, is one of the hottest jazz trumpeters in the United States today.  Adept in straight-ahead, as well as Latin and Afro Cuban jazz, Castellanos has become a leading figure of the vibrant, diverse and flourishing jazz scene in America’s Finest City. An established scene-maker on the West Coast, Castellanos is the Artistic Curator of both of the San Diego Symphony's highly successful jazz series - Jazz at The Jacobs and Bayside Summer Nights - which have featured some of today's brightest stars including ‪Gregory Porter‬, Chick Corea, ‪Chucho Valdes‬, ‪Dianne Reeves‬, ‪Cecile McLorin Salvant‬, John Faddis and more.  Castellanos’ talents are also renowned in the dance community

Andreas has had the opportunity to perform with internationally recognized musicians such as;  Benny Benack, Kaisa Maensivu, Joe Peri, Rasmus Sørensen, Felix Moseholm, Francesco Ciniglio Rodney Green, and Ethan Iversen, Peter Bernstein, Vanisha Gould and Michael Valeanu and performed in countries including England, Germany, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Finland, France, Brazil, the Netherlands, Spain and the United States.

Charlie Apicella

In 2014 Charlie Apicella was invited by Pat Martino to study improvisation, composition, and Pat’s unique method for learning the mechanics of the guitar. He has performed concerts and recorded with jazz legends Dave Holland, Sonny Fortune, and John Blake, Jr. Charlie began his music training in 1999 at the University of Massachusetts studying composition and improvisation with Yusef Lateef and music history with Archie Shepp. In 2005 he began studying under Dave Stryker who produced the Iron City records Sparks (2009) and The Business (2011).

Brittany Anjou

Brittany Anjou is a New York based pianist, keyboardist, improviser, composer, and vibraphonist. She has performed with artists such as Elysian Fields, Clark Terry, Jeremy Pelt, The Shaggs, and the New York Arabic Orchestra. Her original album of piano trio compositions titled Enamiĝo Reciprokataj (Origin Records), and collab album Nong Voru (Chant Records) with Ghanaian xylophonist Alfred Kpebesaane received international acclaim. Anjou is on the faculty of The New School in New York and served on the faculty of the Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmed Cultural Center Music School in Kuwait from 2018-2020

better than TV had its formal debut in 2011. Our line up changed during the years as former students left Cambridge, and it is fluid and rather unconventional. We published two albums, 'Late’ in 2015 and ‘Song from No Man’s Land’ in 2018, both receiving positive reviews and radio time. We play regularly in Cambridge and London.

The Pearcy / Gratzmiller Jazz Quintet

The Pearcy/ Gratzmiller Jazz Quintet offers an energetic, fresh take on hard bop jazz that all audiences can enjoy. PGJQ performs original music composed by its co-leaders Wayne Pearcy (Trumpet) and Aaron Gratzmiller (Saxophone), which combine modern music elements with the soulful sound of classic Jazz quintets. They have performed on WHRB radio, and were featured for the second time on the 502 Sessions with Brian Kerby in November 2018. “Over the Edge” is the title of the PGJQ’s debut album. It contains 10 original compositions written over the course of nearly a decade by Pearcy and Gratzmiller
