After leaving behind years of architectural apprenticeship, his professional music experience began in the early 1990s as an integral member of legendary DJ Tat Money's Halfro Productions team. While studying with private teachers such as Curtis Harmon Sr., Steve Giordano, Myrtle Young, and [Dennis Sandole students] Glenn Wallace and Pat Martino, he created his own ensemble — JazGuardian — that went on to engage corporate, political and public performances for nearly 15 years

Dean Graham Wolfe

Vancouver Island-based Wolfe has performed hundreds of times on stages in Canada and the USA as both a flashy pop-rock guitar-slinging band mate, and as a cuddlier version of Bruce Cockburn in acoustic singer/songwriter mode. Wolfe, a recent transplant from Toronto, hosted open mic nights in Victoria for six months- accepting the opportunity to mingle with local talent. At the end of his stint he realized he'd long neglected his passion as a teen for jazz fusion in the likes of Weather Report, Bruford and Al Di Meola- a genre completely absent during the nights on the cafe stage. Asle Røe

Born: May 9, 1970

Asle Røe is a versatile guitar player specializing in Jazz. He is inspired by many guitarists, Wes Montgomery, Django Reinhardt, and Hank Garland being a few among them. Røe also performs various self-composed music that can vary from melodic ballads to upbeat jazz with country flavors. He is currently living and playing in Oslo, but from 2001-2013 he had performed throughout the US, in cities like New York, Las Vegas, Austin, New Orleans and Houston, amongst many others. Satoshi Kataoka is a guitarist, composer and arranger living in New York City. He attended the Jazz Performance program at The City College of New York where he studied with world acknowledged musicians like, John Patittuci, Mike Holober, Scott Reeves and many others. Satoshi has had opportunities to play with some great players such as John McNeil (Horace Silver, Tom Harrell, Billy Hart, Bob Brookmeyer), Joe Martin (Chris Potter, Brad Mehldau, Fred Hersch, Maria Schneider), Jochen Rueckert (Mark Turner, Marc Copland, Pat Metheny, Sam Yahel) and many more. Beppe Gambetta

Born: 1955

Beppe Gambetta (born 1955) is an Italian acoustic guitarist and singer. A native of Genoa, he is a composer, teacher, author, and researcher of traditional music and instruments. In 1977, Gambetta founded Red Wine, an Italian bluegrass band. He wrote the first Italian instructional book on flatpicking. His flatpicking style is similar to Doc Watson's and Moravian folk music. This style is characterized by flashy licks, intricate cross-picking patterns, open tunings, and fluid slides up and down the neck of the guitar. Although Beppe lives in Genoa, he travels throughout North America every year

Wes Carroll

Victoria, BC based composer, arranger, guitarist and vocalist, Wes Carroll is dedicated to reaching audiences with his original creations. His writing strives to surprise and intrigue through swings of volume, groove and emotion. Since winning the 2010 Daryl Marr scholarship though the Victoria Jazz Society, he has received support from the community through several other scholarships and has graduated with a degree in Jazz Studies from Vancouver Island University (2014). Performed with numerous bands/orchestras in Philadelphia and New England areas..from 1970 to present. Currently have Guitar Duo (Goodis and Glenn) with music on Pandora..perform in various jazz festivals on East and West Coast.We are in the process of signing with Dot Time Records. Recently finished CD "ShuffleTime".My original compositions performed with Andy Lalasis,Tom Adams,Grant MacAvoy,DenisDiBlasio and Tony DeSantis at RADScape Studios in Palmyra,NJ.
