Early Years

Born in Hamburg, raised in Darmstadt, Germany, Johannes grew up in a very supportive and music-loving household. At age 13 he became the youngest student at “Jazz Schule Darmstadt”, where he studied guitar under Eddy Marron (Dzyan, Missus Beastly, Giger-Lenz-Marron). His other teachers include Berklee School of Music alum Rolf Bussalb and Torsten de Winkel.

The Studio

Still in his late teens and early 20’s, Johannes began a career as a studio guitarist and landed a few high profile engagements with artists. Among them Camouflage (Love is a Shield), Ina Deter (Ich will die Hälfte der Welt) and Justin Hayward of the Moody Blues. During this time, he had the great opportunity to work with top producers Edo Zanki, Tommy Schmidt-Zijnen and Ken Taylor. Those guys were calling all the shots in the studio, which led Johannes to embark on an engineering and producing career that has lasted to this day.

Natalie and Dave play their favourite music from the jazz and blues classics of the 1920s through to the 1960s, and beyond, They came together to further explore and develop their own take on these classic jazz standards. They have been gigging in and around the Bristol and the South West for the last five years or so. They are also very close neighbours, both coming from the same neighbourhood in their hometown city of Bristol UK. They have made two CD's and two DVD's. Both have had extensive performance experience in and around the Bristol and South West (UK) area, inclusive of a number of radio appearances on both sides of the Atlantic. Artists they both like: Bessie Smith, Billie Holiday, Julie London - all the great female jazz singers. Guitarists influencing Dave: Mississippi John Hurt, Rev Gary Davis, Bert Jansch, John Renbourne, Stefan Grossman, Jo Pass, Django and all the great jazz guitarists. They have a lively YouTube channel which is attracting increasing levels of attention

Gadjo Dilo

Gadjo Dilo is a band that has combined the music of the legendary gypsy swing guitarist Django Reinhardt with the 50's and 60's Greek music. By mixing these two different cultures and experimenting on more jazz sounds, they perform covers of famous Greek songs, written by some of top Greek composers and thus, create their own truly original genre, Manouche De Grec. Their live performances are filled with magic of the gypsy jazz tradition, giving off a Greek scent and reviving an older era. Gadjo Dilo’s energy inspire the audience to dance and sing along. Their live set also includes American jazzstandards songs and French songs of the Interwar Era

Joshua Cedar spent his formative years studying guitar and composition at the world- renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston. Over the years he has studied privately with many of our greatest, contemporary jazz artists including Pat Metheny, Lyle Mays, Mick Goodrick, Mike Stern, Wayne Krantz, Jamie Glaser, Oz Noy, and others. Back home, in the Bay Area, he has always sought out and played with the finest musicians. Carlos Saunier

Carlos Saunier was born in Santiago de Chile on March 2, 1987. From a very young age he incurred the piano in a self-learning way. He obtained his first guitar at age 13 and formed in the rock lenguaje until ends his University studies at 2011. In this year he discovered jazz and decide to continue his studies on this way. Influenced by jazz and fusion Saunier joined this aesthetic line leading a quartet featuring Claudio Rubio, Francisco Barahona, Felix Lecaros with whom debuted on 2017 with the album "Inminente". A work of refined concept in composition and contemporary sound.
