Francisco Quintero
Although primarily a working jazz guitarist, with deep reverence to greats such as Wes Montgomery, Thelonious Monk and John Coltrane, Francisco is an extremely versatile artist. He has worked in the rock and pop idioms not only as performer but also a producer and arranger. He constantly strives to be creative all-around, and his music is not limited to the jazz idiom.
He leads a trio and a quartet for which he composes all the music, characterized by clear, strong melodies and very chromatic harmonies.I n addition to performing and composing, Francisco is a prominent music educator, currently working in the Washington D.C area at some of the most elite schools.

About Francisco Quintero Francisco Quintero is a guitarist, composer, arranger and producer born and raised in Venezuela. He attended the prestigious Berklee College of Music in 2009, where he obtained a degree in instrumental performance, and also holds a master's degree in Jazz Studies from Northern Illinois University.
