Chris "Nashvillerocker®" DiMella was raised in Miami, Florida. He started playing guitar as a young boy in the 3rd grade. Chris took lessons at local music stores, then played in rock bands and did sessions through out Rockway Jr. High and Sothwest High school in Miami, FL. In the 80’s, Chris began studying jazz with many well-known and respected University of Miami players, including John Defaria, Mitch Farber, Andy Most, Tim Calhoun, and Glenn Minneau. Lessons didn’t come cheap, so Chris was forced to keep his day job and take on other odd jobs to pay for lessons and gear. After high school Chris was accepted to the prestigious Berklee School of Music

Ameranouche

The award winning Ameranouche trio features the melodic virtuosity of guitarist Richard Sheppard, the vehement rhythm chops of guitarist Ryan Flaherty and the dulcet low end of upright bassist Xar Adelberg. Together, this rip-roaring ensemble is a super force of hot acoustic jazz, sometimes referred to as hot swing or Gypsy jazz. The contrast of other influences like American Soul music, Flamenco and Bop are what give the fast fingered trio such a recognizable sound. All played on acoustic instruments, the music is rhythmic, vigorous and strangely elegant. It’s hard to believe only three people are creating such a big sound

Savio Rego

Savio Rego is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He describes his style as “chill-out soul,” an amalgam of Latin, Soul, R 'n' B, Jazz, Electronica and Pop. Rego cites as main artistic influences such popular songwriters as Sting, Sade, Joe Satriani, Phil Collins, India Arie, Eric Claption, and John Mayer. Of these, Sting and Phil Collins seem to have left their mark on his signature sound most audibly, though his Latin flavor is arguably the most important ingredient to his eclectic, modern mix of tones. Rego was born in India and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area of California

Jorge Arévalo Mateus

Born: February 8, 1955

Jorge Arévalo Mateus is a Colombian-born musician/composer, ethnomusicologist, and curator/archivist. A Grammy-winning producer (2008), and ASCAP Deems Taylor Award-winning author, with an MA in Ethnomusicology from Hunter College (CUNY), Jorge is completing a PhD at Wesleyan University; his areas of specialization are Latin American, Caribbean, Jazz and Popular Musics. As curator/archivist for the Woody Guthrie Foundation and Archives since its founding in 1996, he has developed exhibitions for major museums and institutions such as the Experience Music Project, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum, and the Smithsonian Institutional Traveling Services (SITES)

Neil Young

Born: November 12, 1945

After Neil Young left the Californian folk-rock band Buffalo Springfield in 1968, he slowly established himself as one of the most influential and idiosyncratic singer/songwriters of his generation. Young's body of work ranks second only to Bob Dylan in terms of depth, and he was able to sustain his critical reputation, as well as record sales, for a longer period of time than Dylan, partially because of his willfully perverse work ethic. From the beginning of his solo career in the late '60s until the late '90s, he never stopped writing, recording, and performing; his official catalog only represented a portion of his work, since he kept countless tapes of unreleased songs in his vaults
