Roberto Tyson was born in Cuba, reared in Puerto Rico and New York City. Roberto, a prodigy in his early youth, was schooled in the ways of the grand masters of jazz guitar and played along side his father, also a guitarist, with premier musicians of the time. Young Roberto developed a reputation as one of the best players around. Today, Roberto brings a Latin, Caribbean and traditional jazz influence to the richness of his music. My musical influences are my father who is also a guitarist and a percussionist. Wes Montgomery, Joe Pass, George Benson and Pat Martino.

Guitarist Jean Oh was born in Seoul, Korea and began playing music at the age of 13. He began studying music formally at Seoul Jazz Academy, a school that was renowned for the best faculty in Korea. He soon began playing gigs. After several years of playing with many different bands around town, He realized that he needs different experience. This led him to Paris, a cultural heart of Europe. He studied jazz with Misja Fitzerald Michel, Sylvain Beof, Bernard Maury, Joe Malcolm, Emil Spanyl and Frederic Favarel. And he performed in various clubs such as 'Studio des Illettes', 'Caveau des Oubliettes' and 'La Fontaine'. After graduating music conservatory, he quickly moved to New York City to attend New York University where he obtain master’s degree

Brandon Bernstein

Brandon Bernstein began studying guitar at age 14. At 18, he discovered his passion for jazz and improvised music while attending Berklee College of Music. After a semester of study, Brandon ventured to Montreal, Canada where he studied jazz for the next four years. He received a BA in Jazz Performance from Concordia University in 2003. Following his studies at Concordia, Brandon was awarded a full scholarship as a graduate teaching assistant at the University of Louisville where he completed his Master’s degree in Jazz Performance in 2005. Currently, Brandon is a graduate teaching assistant at the University of Southern California where he is pursuing his DMA in Studio/Jazz Guitar and plans to graduate in the fall of 2008. Most recently, Brandon co-authored a book for Mel Bay Publishing Company on the guitar style of modern jazz guitarist, Kurt Rosenwinkel

Sakis Zachariades

Sakis Zachariades is one of the current Jazz-fusion guitarists in Greece. He is a masterful jazz improviser whose music generally falls somewhere between rock, fusion, and modern jazz. He started on guitar while at high school in Thessaloniki, and from 1993 Sakis studied at Musicians Institute of Los Angeles . After his return ,formed many bands and played the clubs with all kinds of music. In Greece he is on the faculty at two well Known Music schools in Thessaloniki sharing his knowledge with the current generation of guitarists.

Stella is a full time musician. Finishing her BMus in 2006, Stella studied from Stephen Magnusson, Tony Gould and the like at Monash University Clayton. Stella is now working for AAB-M on guitar and works on original music in her spare time. As a young musician, in 2003 Stella won the rock section of the Frankston guitar festival. She has also performed with many well known musicians such as James Morrison, David Campbell, Nina Ferro, Jordan Murray and Ronda Burchmore. The Funky Mustard Band is a project started by Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist Larry D. White & Drummer/Singer Kevin Crenshaw in the summer of 2002. After playing together for over 14 years in a couple of different local Houston bands they decided to start “Funky Mustard” as a collective musical project. Their approach to writing music would be one without format, or genre. Their influences of Herb Alpert, Pat Metheny, Weather Report , and John Scofield show thru in this CD . Gardner Headrick on Bass uses a method of attack and overall abstract style reminiscent of Jaco Pastorious.
