Mark Huotari

After years of playing guitar, writing and recording music , I finally produced a CD called "KoMHtA" in 2010. KoMHtA is also the name of the fictitious band featured on MySpace adn Facebook. That stuff is just for fun; the important stuff is the music. In 2012, the seccond KoMHtA CD, called "Haiku Mortar" was released. The music draws from a wide variety of influences: rock, experimental, psychedelia; music and sounds from everywhere! Yes, jazz too. For me, my music helps me flee from the ordinary. Hopefully, it will for you too! The songs are usually instrumental, though when the mood strikes, spoken word can be heard. I hope that you enjoy the music, there is more to come.

Play keys some,,love synths, play fiddle,,,Old Time, Celtic, European(French). Been with music since 8/9 years old when I started piano, cornet at 11, guitar at 13, fiddle at 41. and all the other stringed inst. about that time. Have old open back banjo, sarod(Hemen), tanpura, viola, acoustic guitar, 2 fiddles, 2 electric(2000 Parker Stealth hard tail, 2000 Reverend Slingshot.) Played fiddle in working song/dance folklore troupe from '95 to '04,,,2 tours of France, went to Nova Scotia, Berea KY, FL, and played all over Louisiana. 1 semester at Berklee in Spring '72

Tom Guarna

Grammy-nominated guitarist, composer and arranger Tom Guarna began his musical studies at age fifteen, rapidly demonstrating a natural ability to play and compose. After studying classical guitar and composition at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music in 1986, he played local gigs in New York and fine-tuned his education with John Abercrombie. He earned a Bachelor Degree from The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music in 2008, and a Master’s Degree at The Juilliard School in 2010. After working with several jazz bands, he joined Blood Sweat and Tears in 1995 and toured extensively with them for the next three years

Barry Greene

Born: July 31, 1961

Barry Greene began playing guitar in 1971,at the age of ten years old. Strongly influenced by Wes Montgomery, Joe Pass, George Benson and Pat Martino, Barry has developed into a world-class guitarist, arranger and composer. He has recorded or performed with such artists as Tim Hagens, Danny Gottlieb, Gene Bertoncinni, Scott Wendholt, Kenny Drew Jr., Adam Nussbaum, Warren Berndhardt, Russell Malone, Ron Affif, and Colin Bailey. Barry has seven CD’s out as a leader. “Sojourner”, “At Home”, “Urban Jazz” ,"In the Meantime" and three new releases, “Barry Greene Trio”, “The Other Side” and "Urban Jazz II"

Dave Howard

David Howard (Guitarist / Composer / Arranger / Educator) performs throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. He is a sensitive and exciting musician influenced by many great jazz, blues and funk artists. David Howard is a Professor at Berklee College of Music in Boston. He's a guitarist, composer, arranger and leader on many recordings including "Souvenirs" featuring Kenwood Dennard. "Clouds", "Almost Carefree", and "Block Island Summer" with the Joe Parillo Ensemble, and "Autumn Leaves" with Dave Rasmussen Jazz Orchestra. Dave has Performed tours and clinics in Europe, and has worked as a Composer and Performer on various jingles

Rik Wright

Born: November 3, 1968

A graph of Rik Wright’s influences would read like a wave, running a gamut from jazz to rock and back again. As a guitarist he has taken on influences—often subconsciously—as varied as Andy Summers of The Police and John Abercrombie. Compositionally speaking, Wright hangs with a different crowd altogether, mingling instead with the spirits of Mingus, Monk, and Miles. Of this alliterative trio, Miles has been a decidedly conscious influence in terms of process. And in fact, as becomes obvious once you acclimate to its flow, Wright’s improvising strikes more of an affinity with horn players than guitarists. As a relatively intervallic, melodic player he prefers his wheat brewed, not shredded.

Anders Nilsson

Born: June 20, 1974

Guitarist and composer Anders Nilsson moved from his native Sweden to New York in 2000. Since then he has performed, recorded and/or toured with Anders Nilsson's AORTA, Mohsen Namjoo, Fay Victor, Ken Filiano, Elliot Sharp, Sabir Mateen, Satoshi Takeishi, David Ambrosio, Michael Attias, Gordon Beeferman, Gerald Cleaver, Raoul Björkenheim, and has composed music for string quartet, film, dance and theatre. Mike Walker

Born: July 10, 1962

Born in Salford in 1962, Mike took fifteen years to realise, that his father's piano playing, his mother's singing, and his brother's guitar playing, might just have genetically predisposed him towards a love of corduroy. Realising, however, that careers in the King's cords were somewhat thin on the ground, Mike turned his attention to the chords of Kings. In his case, Mike's royalty comprised Wes, Joe, Pat, John, Larry, Tal et al. After long months of solitary woodshedding, Mike launched himself upon the Manchester scene with River People, a much loved fusion band comprising Mike on his trusted, and even then, rusted 335 guitar; Paul Allen on fretless bass; Tim Franks on drums, and the always astounding Paul Kilvington (a.k.a. Bob Session) on keyboards. Mike's playing drew the attention of Alan Butler, a vibraphone player of considerable, and deserved repute, who in the 1980's had a long running residency at the Malt Shovels, a well-known 'jazz' pub in Altrincham
