Fabrizio la Piana
Born in 1976,inCatania(Italy),he started playing guitar at the age of 11 and learned the basics of the guitar from his father Vittorio La Piana. In 1992 he graduated in theory and solfege and in 1994 earned the V° year classical guitar diploma at the Conservatory of Catania(Italy). In those years he also studied electric guitar at Lizard School of Music in Florence (Italy) with M.Mellner and G.Castellano and started to be active in the music scene of his home town performing in clubs and tv shows (such as “Insieme” and “Insieme Estate”). In 1998,after he graduated with the highest marks, started teaching at Lizard and together with the school teaching staff he wrote “Scuola di chitarra elettrica”,a guitar method edited in Italy by BMG|Ricordi

Nick Nightingale
Nick Nightingale is an American guitarist and composer whose work drifts between experimental music, modern composition and minimalism. Nick started creating original soundtracks to films as an experiment in 2006. He also began composing under the alias Nick Nightingale, named after the piano player in Stanley Kubrick’s Eyes Wide Shut. After releasing several alternative and post-punk records from 2008-2012, he studied jazz, minimalism and modern composition extensively. Influenced equally by cinema and music, his latest work focuses on combining electric guitar melodies with ambient soundscapes

Max Ridgway is a 1990 graduate of Berklee College of Music, Summa Cum Laude, and holds a Masters degree in Music Education from Northwestern Oklahoma State University where he currently teaches as an adjunct instructor. The Max Ridgway Trio formed in 1993 with Max Ridgway on guitar, Richard Martin playing bass, Tony Swafford on drums. The trio performed that year at the 1993 Jazz in June festival in Norman, Oklahoma. Since that time they have appeared at a variety of venues in the Oklahoma City and Tulsa area, including the Norman Music Festival, the OKC Festival of the Arts, Live Music on the Canal, the Post Oak Jazz Festival, and the Oklahoma State Fair

I´m an Argentinian musician based in Barcelona, Spain. I grew up in San Juan, Argentina, a small city next to the Andes Mountains in the west part of the country. There I began studying classical guitar at age 12, and started playing regular gigs on electric guitar by age 15, after studying for several years at the Music Conservatory of the city. In 2000 I moved to Barcelona to continue my career in music and began writing my own material as well. In 2014 I earned a degree in Jazz Guitar after attending the Escuela Superior de Música de Cataluña, “ESMUC”. Jan Jakut is an electric-guitarist based in Seattle, Washington. Confronting the musical aesthetics of Hendrix and Cobain with textures derived from Jazz, 50s and 60s instrumental music, his music explores contemporary genres in a jazz setting. Working on his first EP he is poised and determined to tour his music. He is pursuing his Master's degree in Jazz and Improvised Music with the Helen A. Reynolds Endowed Scholarship in Music and working as Teaching Assistant at the University of Washington, Seattle. His first publication for Schott Music International was released in early 2015, in 2016 he was one of the finalists in Lee Ritenour's Six String Theory Music Competition

Stefan Thorpenberg is a freeform guitarist from Gothenburg, Sweden, who has released 2 full length CDs with GuitCussion. The first CD is Blue Congo and the second Exit Wonderland. Recently he also released a full length digital CD with Northern Voices, which has texts written by him, and performed by Michele Collins and six musicians. All CDs can be purchased at Bandcamp.

Aleif Hamdan is a guitarist/composer from Indonesia and Malaysia. Growing up in South East Asia, Aleif was exposed to a wide variety of music, contributing to a diverse and eclectic palette of taste. Aleif moved to Kuala Lumpur in 2010 to pursue studies at the International College of Music, and eventually earned a reputation in the national music scene after winning several competitions and awards. In 2012, he moved to the States after receiving the Berklee Achievement Scholarship to further explore new voices in music. Kristian Svalestad Olstad
Kristian Svalestad Olstad (b.1985) studied jazz/pop/rock at the Arctic Univesity of Norway between 2005-2013. As well as being involved as a freelance musician and studio-technician in several musical acts in various genres, his main focus is the music within the improvised scene in Norway working with bands like LEAGUS, Kol, MØRK and Eter amongst others. Kristian is also the co-founder of the record label CAMO together with Benjamin Mørk.
