Athens Aqua Jazz Festival 2018

Read "Athens Aqua Jazz Festival 2018" reviewed by Francesco Martinelli

Athens Aqua Jazz Festival Athens, Greece July 9-12 2018 Jazz, like many other things, lives a precarious life in post-crisis Greece. Karapatakis / Hildenbrand / Spyridakis

A cross cultural project based to a new sound conception of Gabriel Karapatakis (Cyprus), Hub Hildenbrand (Berlin Germany) and Zacharias Spyridakis (Crete Greece). Since their first concert in Berlin in March 2015 they played together. The chemistry is surprising. The concept of the members of this group behind the music is common and very interesting. They had encountered each other in their travels is a certainty. Their music is decidedly lyrical with accessible nature and attractive themes but might turns energetic with some truly exciting peaks. Sokratis Sinopoulos: Eight Winds

Read "Eight Winds" reviewed by Neri Pollastri
