Born: March 19, 1948

I've spent the last few years recording albums, making videos and performing in and around London, the far east and New York City. Most of the songs come from the 1930's, 40's and 50's, written by the great composers of the day; Cole Porter, Rogers and Hart, Hoagy Carmichael, Matt Dennis, Harold Arlen et al. But there are also songs by Elvis Costello and Joy Division. With the help of some great collaborating musicians and producers, I'm doing my best to bring some of these great old American songbook standards into the 21st century with the aid of digital technology.

Linda Solotaire is a jazz vocalist and the leader of the Linda Solotaire Quartet. She also performs repertoire with her musical partner, arranger/guitarist & bassist Stu Greenspan, a jazz duo with Saalik Ziyad and more.. Linda is classically trained in music and theatre, and began her career as an actress in the late 1970s. As a solo jazz vocalist, she is most deeply influenced by Ella Fitzgerald, Peggy Lee, Abbey Lincoln, Sheila Jordan, and Judy Garland. While the Great American Songbook is at the heart of her repertoire, she strives to infuse her sets with more obscure, contemporary and original songs. Paula Lammers

Born: December 12, 1964

In a sea of talented vocalists on the Twin Cities Jazz Scene, Paula Lammers is a distinctive artist, “a solid soprano voice who shares each song’s story with heartfelt conviction, clear diction and a sweet (but not too-sweet) tone, swing where it needs to swing, energy where it needs to pop, wistful musing or upbeat sunshine as the story merits (Andrea Canter, Jazz Police.com). A native of St. Peter, MN, Paula recalls her first public performance of “Go Tell Aunt Rhody” at age four and wearing out the needles on her parents’ record player listening to Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, the Serendipity Singers and the Ray Coniff Singers
