Ognjen Savija

Born: March 19, 1971

Ognjen Šavija: Member of Cultural Association Ambrosia. Guitar player, musician, composer, producer, sound designer, art performance artist, multimedia artist & DJ – the explorer of Infinity and its possibilities. Born in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina 1971. He has taken classical guitar lessons from Mile Praljak. Simultaneously, he has worked with electronics and audio engineering, and has studied several other music instruments. 1986, together with his brother Nebojša Šavija-Valha, he started experimenting with music and sound within contemporary music, new age, experimental, avant-grade jazz and ambient (See Ognjen Šavija and Nebojša Šavija-Valha duo). At the same time he has played with several alternative rock bands. 1991-1996 he was a leader of a goth rock band the Invisible Fields. Shay Hazan

Born: November 22, 1989

Bassist and composer Shay Hazan, based in Tel-Aviv, presents his latest group release with new reflections and directions. The band, two-horns strong and backed by the classic piano, bass and drums unit, continues to strike ripples in their near and farther surroundings. Only that in Hazan's case, backing does not mean hiding. His significant bass work carries the group into the magical realms of Gnawa music from Morocco, the new wave of Hip-Hop, and the 1960's Chicago Free Jazz and human rights movement, all these casts into a fresh blend of old and new flavours.

Angela on the Arts is a trio convened by jazz trumpeter/composer John D’earth who has performed internationally, and appeared on over 100 recordings with Dave Matthews, Bruce Hornsby, John Abercrombie, Emily Remler, Kait Dunton, Pat Metheny, Lionel Hampton, Tito Puente, and Buddy Rich, among many others. D'earth has recorded as a leader for Vanguard Records, ENJA Records, DoubleTime Jazz and his own Cosmology label.

Richard Andersson

Born: October 4, 1982

Richard Andersson (b. Oct. 1982) is a Danish/Faroese/Icelandic bass player and composer based in Copenhagen where he is known as “one of the most interesting characters of the Danish jazz scene” (Ivan Rod/Gaffa Music Magazine.). Andersson grew up in a musical family but never showed much interest in music until the age of 14 when his life was turned upside down after a fireworks accident that cost him his sight. Now, around 20 years later, Richard Andersson has gained great recognition for his work as a composer and bass player in the modern jazz field. He has released several albums as a bandleader with Danish and international musicians such as Oskar Gudjonsson (IS), Rudi Mahall (DE), Kasper Tranberg (DK), Jerry Bergonzi (US), Ra-Kalam Bob Moses (US), Tony Malaby (US) and Bill McHenry (US). Rasmus Kjaer

Born: July 29, 1982

Rasmus Kjær Larsen (b.1982) is a pianist, composer and performer based in Copenhagen. For more than ten years he has collaborated with some of the most intriguing acts on the underground scene in Denmark and he has released 3 albums of his own. With the acclaimed collective Under Byen (2007-2009) Rasmus toured across Europe and North America concurrently starting to write music for his own projects. In 2012 he released his debut as a bandleader: The trio jazz album ‘Broken Bow’ with drummer Kresten Osgood and bassist Jonas Westergaard. In 2016 he released his solo album ‘Orgelimprovisationer’ and in 2019 his keyboard album ‘Turist’. Alongside his own releases Rasmus has collaborated with names like Klimaforandringer, SVIN, Jeppe Højgaard, Excelsior, BISSE and Frisk Frugt and he played at the Roskilde Festival and Eurosonic Festival among others

He has collaborated with numerous artists such as Paul Pinto, Bonita Oliver, John Sanborn, Nicholas Finch, Charlotte Mundy, Pamela Z, and Frank London. Dorian has also provided his musical services to political figures like Jarvis Tyner, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Gerald Horne, Blade Nzimande, and Sing In Solidarity.

Apart from his work in composition and performance, Dorian has also served as a music therapist and mindfulness teacher at Rikers Island

Aaron Dolman

Born: January 26, 1995

Aaron Dolman (he/him) is a drummer, composer and bandleader born and based in Tiohtià:ke/Montréal who has emerged as a distinct and imaginative voice in the city's creative music scene.

Aaron leads the unique trio, Aaron Dolman's Here to Help, in which he is joined by two vocalists: Sarah Rossy and Eugénie Jobin. The group's first album, Are You Here to Help?, was released in March of 2022 and premiered with a concert at the OFF Festival de Jazz de Montréal for which the group won the François-Marcaurelle Award. The album is a journey into the primordially evocative quality of drums and the human voice—brought into sharp focus by the group’s strikingly minimalistic instrumentation.  Aaron’s compositions and lyrics blur the line between notated and improvised music, and probe the expressive power of giving and taking Space. In his own words: “This is music about Space. The space between each note, each word, each breath. Between what was, what is, and what could be. The gentle potency of silence.
