Filippo Vignato

Born in Northern Italy in 1987 and raised in a musical family, he took his first trombone at the age of 10. Nowadays he performs intensively in Italy and Europe as a sight-forward sideman and as a leader of his own bands and he is considered as one of the most interesting Italian musicians of his generation.

He is active in different fields of jazz and improvised music, embracing contemporary music, Avantgarde jazz and world music. From 2014 he leads an electric trio with Attila Gyarfas on drums and Yannick Lestra on fender Rhodes. His latest project is a quartet alongside Giovanni Guidi on piano, Mattia Magatelli on bass and Attila Gyarfas on drums, which recorded ‘Harvesting Minds’, released in September 2017 by Cam Jazz.

In early 2023, saxophonist and composer Oleksandr Kolosii presents his new project "Paws Up" released on the label Unit Records (CH) and featuring a special line up of musicans who made a significant impact on Oleksandr's career: Carl Winther - piano, Doug Weiss - double bass and Anders Mogensen - drums.

The music for this project began to come “into one frame” after personal changes in Oleksandr's life after marrying his life partner. “This is a very special project for me” says Oleksandr. After 12 years of living abroad, travelling to over 54 countries and living in Copenhagen since 2017, he decided to move out to the countryside and experience family life again. “It was like a breath of fresh air” after leaving his parent's house in his early 20s to pursue his musical dreams worldwide…

PLS.trio

PLS.trio - pianist Pier Luigi Salami, bassist Martin D Fowler, and drummer Shawn Crowder - lies somewhere in between Northern European jazz and American contemporary jazz, bringing forth a highly energetic and deeply melodious mixture of modern jazz and electronic elements. Tapping musical sophistication and tech savvy to lead their artistic toolkit, the group's focus on melody carries the listener along on a journey drawn from experiences of blazing through city streets and car horns of the trio’s native New York, all the way to landscapes reminiscent of sunny, mid-western countryside fields. Matthias Broede

Matthias Bröde, born in Karlsruhe, Germany, is a composer, improviser, jazz harmonicist and pianist. Felix Biller

Born: June 15, 1993

Felix Biller is an award-nominated pianist, composer, music educator and music manager. Born in Rosenheim, Bavaria (Germany), he started his musical education at the age of four. Throughout the years he tackled many instruments, such as guitar and saxophone, but the piano always remained his instrument of choice and mastery. His classical training gave him an excellent technique; his eagerness to experiment and think outside the box makes him search for new inspirations and opportunities for artistic development.

Biller is both an involved learner and dedicated teacher. He graduated from musicology and music management, furthermore in keyboard instruments popular music with a focus on pedagogy at the University of Music and Performing Arts in the Austrian capital Vienna, where he lives and works. As a passionate educator he enjoys working with people of different ages and backgrounds, which is made possible through his teaching activities, among others in private settings. He has previously taught music at a Vienna high school as well as piano at various music schools.

Jaco Parmentier

Jaco's universe is sewn together with limpid sources, subtle tastes, cinematographic landscapes, serenity and pure energy. A pianist who expresses himself with the spontaneity and freedom that is the essence of jazz, Jaco has always been influenced by many musical cultures (pop, progressive rock, classical and world music) as well as by the visual arts. (he regularly collaborates with artists coming from all walks of the performing arts and the cinema). He is an inspired composer developing a very personal style through his melodies and his rich harmonic, rhythmic climates.

Spanish singer and composer Pepa Niebla is renowned for her vocal versatility that has allowed her to be involved in a great variety of projects: from blues, soul and jazz to Cuban son and popular music. Living in Granada, Havana, London and Brussels gave her the opportunity to grow, learn and experiment in different genres. Now, settled in Belgium, Niebla has found her sound and direction as an artist, bringing to life her own compositions and arrangements with her new project: The Pepa Niebla Quintet. 2020 will see the release of Renaissance, Niebla’s first album of original compositions (following her releases Pepa Niebla Project and Pepa Niebla & Ricky Vivar), featuring guitarist Toni Mora, pianist Maxime Moyaerts, double bassist Alex Gilson and award-winning drummer Daniel Jonkers

Live People Ensemble

Live People Ensemble is a Moscow-based band that was founded in 2009 by Russian pianist and composer Natalya Skvortsova. They play original music that feels stylistically close to contemporary European jazz, while also incorporating influences from the band members’ personal and cultural backgrounds. The musicians use various elements of jazz and art music tradition, folk and world music, and contemporary rhythmic and harmonic-rhythmic structures to convey emotion and live energy in their music.
