Musician

Eliott Knuets

Born:

This 18 year old Belgian guitarist started playing guitar at the age of 6. Initially immersed in the musical world of rock, he quickly developed a passion for jazz. He trained with Peter Hertmans and Bert Cools. When he was only 16 years old, he had the great fortune to jam with Wynton Marsalis during a tour in Belgium. Marsalis spotted him and invited him to play at Dizzy’s Club in New York for a virtual session (Covid obliges!). Afterwards, Eliott was invited to play with the Brussels Jazz Orchestra for a live session. We find him at the opening of the Django Folllies 2022 festival and then on the big stage of BOZAR for a concert featuring his own compositions.
